Moyes still not changed anything and it's too late now. Neville called the problems in the first 10 mins.

Edit: Haha :D

Comparing the start of Moyes' reign to the start of Ferguson's is ridiculous, Ferguson didn't take over a team that hadn't finished outside the top 3 for 20 years, Moyes did. And he's made a complete hash of it.

Why? Just move the votes from 'Man Utd fan - Give him more time' to 'Man Utd fan - Sack him'.

I bet quite a few people still want him given more time and will lay the blame entirely at the door of the players. It is partially the players fault but they aren't playing for him, at all. Tactically he's looking completely inept as well.

As I've said plenty of times, the board now have to decide if Moyes has shown enough evidence that he's the man to build our new team. Are they really all going to agree that he's the man to spend £100m+ of our cash reserves?

Unless Olympiacos fall apart on Wednesday we won't beat them either.

From the outside it looks like Ferguson (or whoever pulls the purse strings if you like) should take some of the blame too. United's squad has been getting weaker with every season. This season everyone else got stronger.

Moyes may be out of his depth, but to pin it all on him is wrong as far as I can see.

The main thing that would worry me, if I was a United fan, would be whether he's actually capable of bringing in the kind of quality you'll need to rebuild.

If I was a top, top player, would I want to go to a team that isn't even in the Europa league, let alone the Champions league? Would I want to go to a team that is managed by a manager i've never heard of? (talking foreign based players here)

Mata was an exception to the rule because he simply wasn't getting a game.

That is a concern as well, yes.

1stly - Europa league is a bit of a joke, and the travel / timing of the games is more of a pain than a benefit.

Whether top players dont want to come to a club not in the CL is one thing, but it will make no difference at all whether the "new" team is in or out of the Europa (especialy given how big a club Utd actually are world wide).

The player also has to consider where they are moving from, maybe the EPL is a good step up anyway and with cup games it may be a big enough challange changing culture etc etc

I can't believe you are letting the Mods keep trolling you like noobs, they open the thread when you lose and keep it closed if you win. :p

I was a firm believer in giving Moyes a chance to bring in his own signings during the coming summer and taking it from there. Today, was embarrassing and if we lose out to Olympiakos and our closest neighbours, City then he, Moyes should do the manly thing and leave. Moyes looks to have lost the dressing room for sure. :(

Moyes post match comments then:

Manchester United manager David Moyes, speaking to BBC Sport: "I thought there was not a great deal in it at half time. We had just started to play a bit better towards the end of the first half.

"It was important we came out in the second half and got a goal back but instead we gave one away and that made it very difficult for us.

"I don't think I had even got seated in the dugout when we gave it away. We were going for it but it always left us open to a counter."

On the penalties: "It is better we don't talk about any of them. Some were penalties, some weren't."

On Wednesday's Champions League last-16 second leg tie with Olympiakos: "The support was phenomenal today and if they give us that again we will have a great chance on Wednesday."

On trying to finish fourth: "It looks like we are a long way off it, we are well aware of that but we are going to keep fighting."

Pretty much the usual rubbish. No explanation.

His tactics worry me. Mata, who has absolutely no pace was on the wing?

Trying to shoe horn him in ... unfortunately for Moyes that doesn't work when you're playing a player totally out of position. Mata doesn't want to play there, doesn't play well there .... just taking up a position that would be better suited to, oh I don't know, a winger?

Maybe he doesn't have the balls to drop RVP or Rooney and play Mata in behind where he needs to be.

Well he hasn't lost Rooney, Mata or RVP and tbh they are the only ones of the lot of them I'd keep if I was re-building united.

They are the only ones anyone that comes in should keep too.

As I keep saying as soon as it's mathmatically impossible that they will be in anything next year he will be gone. I just hope whoever it is that comes in doesn't give any of these gutless ****s more than 5 minutes of their time.
