I'm shocked he came out and said he wants to stay. His body language and workrate say the complete opposite. Not that I totally blame him either - he moved to win trophies and whilst Moyes is there that's just not going to happen.

This is 100% true, he doesn't want to play for Moyes and it looked like the whole team doesn't want to either. Look at that defending today giving away 4-5 penalties, that would never happen under Fergie in a million years.

The problem with the defence is a slightly different one. They look disinterested because I believe Rio/Evra are off at the end of the season with Vidic.

At this point I'd be playing Jones regularly with Smalling/Evans if fit, and see if Buttner(?) has what it takes to be regular LB.

Buttner should have never been signed let alone fielded again.

Currently, Man U players are either looking for pay rises or looking to leave. Rooney has shown the way.

Liverpool away end

Undertaker and... Jeff Hardy? Not sure about the last one. :D

There's no point in sacking him with 9 games to go, but on the basis of what I've seen so far, he should be dismissed as soon as the season ends and a replacement bought in quickly to get the team working.

I like Moyes, I still do, but at this point he looks an utterly broken man that has lost the trust of his team. I think it would be unfair to let him carry on.

The only problem I have with this is it extends the issues by another season - because any new guy isnt going to make the wide ranging changes required, especially given the WC which gives any new appointment even less time to settle in and bring any players in before they disappear to WC duty.

Oh, he definitely can make those runs, but he's just not trying now. At least that's what it looks like. Or Moyes has broken him.

It may not be his strong point , but some of RvP's headers today looked more like defenisve / clearing headers rather than those actually trying to score.

Completely heart-breaking it really is.

Rafael was a liability yesterday (admittedly not helped by some clear obstructions against him) and Evra was struggling to get back at various points abd MF looked like he was falling over from every breath of wind (even before the cut to his face).

I think the club need to start looking for someone new and then replace Moyes in the summer. I was expecting a transition period, but this has been truly awful. I don't think Moyes has made any correct decisions yet.

I've never seen the team look so one dimensional and clueless. Judging by the Liverpool game you'd guess the players had never played together before.

With these three games being a defining point of the season you'd usually expect United to do reasonably well. Now I am almost certain we'll lose all three. That's how far my expectations have been lowered.

I felt sorry for Rafael yesterday. He got torn to pieces, but that was more a result of Mata and Januzaj not tracking and Fellaini and Carrick lacking mobility, meaning that he was often 3 on 1 against Flanagan, Suarez and Allen. I'm not sure you can expect him to do much in that situation

Rafael does what rafael does. Foul people. Get injured. Get fouled. Get injured. Give away penalties. Get injured.

This has not changed since he began at Utd. People need to understand thats just how he is and has never shown for a consistent period of time that he can play without conforming to type.

There was never any doubt there would be a rough patch while the team got used to the new manager, but alarmingly after 30 games there really seems to have been no improvement.

It'll also be extremely difficult to attract top talent to the club if (is it if at this point??) they don't make it to the CL for 2015, so strengthening the team is going to be a challenge. Not to mention a player might simply look at the performance of the club this season and hear alarm bells at the manager.

I think they should just cut their losses, pay off the lengthy contract and get someone in now, so he has a few games to plan his changes/work with the team before next season. Moyes just isn't gelling with the club at all.

The thought of Steven Gerrard lifting the Premier League trophy makes me feel sick.

When I voted more time, I didn't think it would get this bad, I thought he'd turn it around and that it could be recovered, but it seems he's lost the entire team and none of them are bothered, couple that with the 'no tactics' tactics and it's tragic to watch week in week out.

There is blame to lay with the players, too. But that's another thing.

Please go before the club is ruined further :(

i think the majority of that is they have no faith in him and/or really don't want to play for him. they won the league last season (albeit with no finesse) so what's to say they can't at least challenge this season? fundamentally, the only real change is the manager/coaching staff, which highlights what the problem is being the only major change.

Such as? Name 3 realistic targets that you could get at this stage of the season.

You had the chance to get exactly the kind of manager to succeed Fergie and be a short term success in Maureen, come in & carry on the winning mentality you had under the previous manager and appoint a young coach to learn from him and take over in a few seasons. Maybe Giggs or Scholes could have been groomed or something.

Previously been in the 'lets give him more time' camp but enough is enough (though might as well give him until the end of the season). He has no clue and should pursue a career in memes.

I think you could make a case for getting a caretaker manager in right now (as in today) and hope it gives the players something to fight for on Wednesday night. As it stands we're going to struggle badly as usual.

As for the summer, there are quite a few managers we should try and get, they won't be cheap but will very much be worth it. Then we can give them free reign to spend our cash on the right players, players they may know and can attract more easily. I've previously dismissed this, but who is seriously going to be in a rush to play for David Moyes (given all that's happened)?!

If we persist with Moyes past the summer, I will despair. Especially as this season is only going to get worse.
