Spot on. "I don't like those results, so I will disregard those!" Pretty lame really and comes across as desperate.
Go ahead and fire up the Titan X Greg and lets see how good it is then.
Why don't you post your results - Show a vid or some other info instead of jumping on others. I try and contribute and show what to expect from this API or that API and here is some frame rates from various games and I think a lot of people enjoy what I do.
Then we get posts like this....
trumped LOL Dont make me Laugh!
What I find pathetic is people will cling to one set of results as final like these youtube ones when all the rest show different results. I know for a fact the Fury scores higher than that because I have one. Its not about not liking the results. Iv never had a problem being second, shame others don't feel the same. And yea I have been trying to record Doom but its just not working.
something not right about that graph, why is titan outperforming 780ti ?
can anyone verify those results, particularly 290x vs 780 ?
Those results are about right ish a little on the low side compared to what I was seeing but not by much - Kepler cards aren't running at all right under Vulkan right now for a lot of people if not all.
OGL running well though?
My 780 GHz under Open GL runs about the same performance as the RX480 does in Open GL - then with Vulkan things go totally screwy.
Kepler has had a bit erratic performance in Doom though from the start for some reason - I see more than enough performance at 1080p in Open GL but at 1440p regardless of low through to ultra settings it takes a total dive so I'm guessing there is some game bug somewhere.
I don't care what results are posted. The game runs very well on pretty much all hardware of the last 5 or so years but that doesn't seem to matter to some and you are doing what you find pathetic. Come on bud, you generally post much better than this and I credit you with some common sense, so don't get dragged in and enjoy the game. Graph wars are a long term thing for many forums and dismissing and agreeing seems to be part and parcel of what flavour you prefer.
Be the better man
Still though, it is disappointing how badly the GTX 780 seems to have aged. And I've just come from an Asus 780 DCII.
If you're implying I'm butthurt I'm really not. I didn't buy a Fury because I wanted the best performance or thought it was better than a 980ti. What I'm saying is if we posted our own results we can see for ourselves. You've done a 1080 video, though I wouldn't mind seeing 4k results because like you said everything is doing outstanding at 1440p now. In this case I think the Fury might just beat the 980ti. I did see one but not from here. There's no harm in some friendly competition.
I folded and bought Doom today
It's downloading now so I'll give Vulkan a try later on.

bah, not folding, waiting for it to go on sale 50% off at least. Shouldn't be long now.
I am not implying you are butthurt at all and don't be silly lol. I am saying "Go ahead and fire up the Titan X Greg and lets see how good it is then." is a bit of a lame statement and especially as you haven't provided anything yourself. I love me some competition as well but I use the benches that Kaap runs for that and again, I don't see you joining in those either. I like how you post as a rule and you seem level headed but your last couple of posts are just silly. Pip your Fury against other Furys and see how it gets on is what I consider competition and I don't consider "run at 4K and I bet my Fury can beat a 980Ti in this game" as competition at all and unless you run the exact same spots, the results will be all over the place. One part see's me above 150 fps and another part as low as 70, so unless you are going to record (which you can't do apparently), there is no competition.
OK how about I rephrase that. Would you mind doing video of 4k on the Titan X I would actually really like to see how it compares. Yea maybe it's hard to see overall because there is no in game benchmark but you still get the idea.
