Dover Ferry Queues

If you ask me the B word is just an easy scapegoat, these problems have existed for years if not decades and its about time they sorted it.
The problem is the exit from the EU just emphasis these more more global problems making it worse. It is an easy scapegoat to point out global problems and ignore how local factors magnify them

By sort it, you mean get rid of the "car" as a means of going on holiday. Utterly ridiculous mode of transport.

That picture is probably the equivalent to about 100 people, or a typical school dinner queue.

How about not booking in so many people that is leads to these queues? Its fairly obvious as it happens every year.

That’s the problem with it, it’s far too toxic for it to have any value.
Remainers have become the new vegans. How do you know if someone is a remainer? Because every 3rd post someone will tell you they are and likely follow up with a condescending “I’m much smarter than you” comment.

Its tiresome.
You seem to be confused.
From my experience and just from reading this tread, you can CLEARLY see who are the "Brexiteers" and it's not so simple to see who are the "remainers"

The Brexiteers are still frothing at the mouth about foreigners, trash talking the French about how they are "acting like *****" as so many people have said etc...

The pot is calling the kettle black on this one. You sir, are being fundamentally dishonest in your comments, but then that would not be surprising at all for someone supporting the B-Word..... right?

I didn’t vote mate you really ought to stop making these assumptions. I just find making fun of it all quite amusing.

Then you need to get a grasp on how a "First past the post" voting system works.

By not voting it does not absolve you of any responsibility like you try to lie to yourself about.

In a "first past the post" system such as ours, refusing to vote simply gives your vote to WHOEVER wins, without ANY input from you.

Simply put.... If you refuse to vote, then you simply make it easier for "whoever wins" to actually win, since they need 1 less vote to achieve majority.
So your claim that "I'm not responsible for this because I didn't vote" is a fundamental lie and you are being utterly dishonest to yourself to try and pretend you had nothing to do with the current outcome.

You refused to vote.. as such Boris required 1 less vote to get a majority. This in effect means you actually voted FOR Boris, by proxy.

So yes, you are 100% responsible for this, as well as everyone who did vote to support him.

So stop trying to pretend you are innocent of the outcome. YOU helped cause it.

Don't worry, they'll remind you at every opportunity anything in this country isn't working perfectly.
Take a look around at this country... take a look at what doesn't work properly... the huge waiting lists, the god awful state of our infrastructure and NHS. Take a look at the 12+ years of Tory Austerity that has fed into this and now try to pretend it's the "Remainers fault" for pointing out the problems.

How utterly dishonest do you have to be to pretend like the problem is the "remoaners" complaining about things that don't work properly, rather than the 12 years of underfunding that has led to almost every area of public services being cut to the bone until it can no longer perform it's function.
Or should we all just "shut up and accept it" when the Tories spend 12 years enrichening their own lives and that of their "elite class" mates, while pillaging the rest of the country? - THIS is the common trait amoungst so many "B-Supporters". the idea we should just "Suck it up" and accept it.

Utter madness.

Cool story bro. But no.

I don’t vote ’cause I believe if you vote, you have no right to complain. People like to twist that around. I know, they say, they say: “well if you don’t vote you have no right to complain”. But where’s the logic in that? If you vote, and you elect dishonest, incompetent people, and they get into office and screw everything up, well you are responsible for what they have done, YOU caused the problem, you voted them in, you have no right to complain. I on the other hand, who did not vote, WHO DID NOT VOTE. Who in fact did not even leave the house on election-day, am in no way responsible for what these people have done, and have every RIGHT to complain as loud as I want, about the mess YOU created, that I had nothing to do with.

Give it a rest.
Oh I'm sorry, are we meant to just pretend everything is rosy and the last 12+ years hasn't been utterly disastrous for this country?

Is this another one of those "we need to move on" moments where the entire country is expected to just sweep all this under the rug and forget it because it doesn't fit into the "sunlight uplands, no downsides" narrative that is still clung to by it's supporters?
Why the hell should we "give it a rest"? Th Euro-sceptics didn't "give it a rest" for the last 40 years where they spend their time demonizing and blaming the EU for everything they did wrong.

I love europe, my countries still in it. Sucks to be you.
Brexit threads that way ->

You clearly had 0 understanding of a FTFP voting system and are simply trying to absolve yourself of any responsibility by lying to yourself and everyone else that your refusal to vote did not make it 1 vote easier to get a majority (which is exactly what it did).
Yet another example of the level of dishonesty you will stoop to in order to wash your hands of any responsibility for this farce.
