It's all a bit Reddish...
Has anyone moved from the HG612-3B to the 130 and seen any significant increase in line stats? I'm not having any issues at the moment and the router seems really stable so just curious more than anything.

Out of the box I lost about 10Mbps downstream sync when switching from the HG612 to the Vigor 130. I had to tweak the SNR on the 130 to get it back.

Had the HG612 not died I would have stuck with it.

I you using latest firmware on the Vigor, I mention as the Draytek often change/improve their modem codes.

I switched from an ECI openreach modem to the vigor 130, I've had no speed change at all so far.

It's not a magic bullet, especially if you were getting near your maximum profile speed already, also consider how long it will take dlm to increase your speeds if you've actually managed to improve things.

I'm using TP Link VR900 V2 router with these line stats, would I see any increase if I use the Vigor 130 modem?

Code:
Downstream sync speed:
57.159 Mbps

Upstream sync speed:
20 Mbps

Maximum data rate:
68224 / 21904

Noise margin:
6.3 up / 6.4 down

Line attenuation:
21.5 up / 11.2 down

Does this command need to be re-input in the event of a modem rebbot?
Not that I'm aware of.

For the purposes of an update, my modem is still sync'd at 67000, compared to the 50 something it was before. It appears I'm banded by Plusnet/DLM, but it's been rock solid since the OP.

Annoyingly my SNR has gone to 4 and my line has dropped to 59Mbit from the 67Mbit. It looks banded (again) looking at the stats.

strange these stats shouldn't suggest a unstable line which would end up resulting in a banded line.

This is mine, had the SNR setting for 6-8 weeks now I think. Stretching it to the 35mb attainable would be nice.

It's been rock solid for ages so I don't understand why it's dropped. I'm not sure if it's worth the effort of speaking to PlusNet about it as I'm certain a DLM reset will sort it, but whether I can convince them to arrange an engineer is another story.
