Driveclub more details

Had a good time last night with other OCUKers on multiplayer last night - shame its a bit buggy still and not polished, but we all seemed to enjoy :)

New player here: PSN is InsaneBirch

I was looking at getting involved in more time trial events but the other thread seemed dead. Regardless I'm always looking to add and race against and with more people.

We were discussing last night and it would be cool to have closed sessions so can organise OCUK type events - team and single player - lets hope they add in future :)

I find letting go on accelerate before corners helps a lot, some corners you don't even need to break if you easy of the gas

I find a car is more stable while cornering without accelerator but tend to understeer more than expected. TBH they all seem to react differently but as I havent really used a lot of the cars I guess practise and ealrning the circuits will help me more than anything - I tend to overbrake and watch people hit/go past me...

I definitely prefer cars that oversteer than ones that dont

ps3ud0

Each corner is different but it all comes down to practice.

The majority of the time, it's full braking, coast, and then accelerate. Some cars car cope with full acceleration but cars that tend to wheel spin a lot, feather the gas.

Some corners, especially in Time Trial, you need to push the limits and be brave into the corners - that's what Restart is for I guess!

As for grid starts, I full throttle. It makes no difference especially if you're behind someone as drafting is strong in this game.

Everyone know about the coloured flags of green, yellow and red when approaching corners? For some reason this didn't click with me until a couple of weeks of owning the game :)
