Dune: Part 2 (2024)

I'm not overly surprised, it seems the studio studio forgot how big a part actors play in the PR/Advertising for the film when it's released, or that the actors can't do anything related to the job whilst there is a strike ongoing. The next year or likely to see a lot more films (and TV) delayed, and we're probably going to have a very light period for new content coming up because the Studios don't seem to have grasped that they can't do much without writers or actors except rerelease old stuff as even finished product can't be marketed properly at the moment so they're unlikely to risk releasing it.

Having said that, I am quite disappointed as it was the one film this year I was really looking forward to and would have got me to the cinema.
 
At least the strikes give me time to catch up on all the shows ive missed. Ive not seen part 1 yet but i have seen the original film with sting in it and the series they made. I also played the old rts game loads.

With how much money is being lost hand over fist by the vast majority of TV/Movies studios at the moment, they're very probably saving money right now due to the strike as they aren't having to spend money to make/promote/distribute any new material.

Jesus wept thats a trailer.... 14 weeks to go ? unbelievable .. love it.

i wonder if they have done more work to it in the "delay" i wonder if we will ever learn what... if anything.
