E3 2018

The thing I liked about Sony's show was actual game play footage. Tells me more about the near future, MS was pop funk and teaser trailers backed up with multi platform games.

I got an Xbox One X on release and it's far from a justified purchase so far and based on E3 this doesn't appear to be changing soon.

I would also suggest based on Sony's showing they certainly have a PS5 for next year, maybe a spec sheet, maybe a name but the lack of new and teasers is likely due to a shift of development to the next console. However they have enough exclusive IP to keep the PS4 chugging along.

Loved TLOU2 trailer, dubious how much is actual gameplay - but it looked amazing!

When Ellie came out into the street, it really looked like it could be NYC - as I was sure it showed the Flat Iron building. Maybe it is, and I missed that whole discussion :D

All subjective but the games Microsoft showed appealed to me more than the Sony ones.

Oh of course, its all my opinion innit. What games on the Msoft stage interested you out of interest? The ones that I liked the look of were all multi platform to be honest, im trying to find a list of all games announced but I cant see anything.

Sony's titles just blew me away a little more to be honest, the fact they had gameplay helped.

Having only watched the trailers this morning (Not seen any of the conference) I see only 2 games that interest me. TLOU2 and Spiderman and even then they were not blow away reveals. Nothing else, especially the Quantum break clone. The multiplatformers were the better games of this E3 imo. In no particular order

Anthem
Metro
The Division 2
Doom
Just Cause 4
Cyberpunk

MS exclusives? Forza Horizon 4 and Gears are about it so 2 exclusives a piece for me.

Just watched the Death Stranding. Still hard to figure out what exactly is going on here, but this game does intrigue me at least. Looks like a suspense thriller type survival game.

Usual Kojima weirdness. Tbh I’m not a fan of his but interested to see what this is all about....

Looks to me after watching some more vids that Sony know they've got this generation "won" and as a result put out a conference just going through the motions showing nothing particularly cool. Game play is nice yes but where were the big reveals?

Well, I am generally not a PS fan. Very very few games make me want a PS. If this turns out and reviews well I can see me picking up a 2nd hand PS at some point to play it.

I couldn't bring myself to watch any TLoU after the kiss - from now on a complete media blackout as I don't want anything to be spoiled. Even if only minor!

looking forward to games on all systems. Have no favourite and play on whatever decent games come out on. You do get some weird childish fanboys popping up at E3 time though always makes me chuckle.... lol

It really is worth watching it. It's not spoilery just some random scripted combat. No story just an area with some fighting. All the little graphical details within the fighting and on Ellie especially is like nothing I've seen before. It gives you some insight into where ND are at and it is incredible.

I'm the same. I own all systems and always have. I take what I want from each.

Tlou2 trailer gives nothing away about the story imo all I can say is wow , game of the show so far for me , quite easily as well it's the 1st game I'll ever pre-order before any reviews are out.

On a whole so far it's been a very good e3 , think Microsoft and Sony were on par overall

I'm also interested in what Nintendo come up with. I don't think I am that into Smash or fighting games in general but I want to see more of it anyway. And Metroid!

It does look very impressive.
