E3 2018

Just watched the Death Stranding. Still hard to figure out what exactly is going on here, but this game does intrigue me at least. Looks like a suspense thriller type survival game.

It looks flippin' horrible. Twisted and gross, and definitely not in a good way...

Last of Us II - Looks great. Hard to say anymore from the limited gameplay shown.
Death Stranding - Wtf is going on? Still going to buy it, not on day 1.
Ghost of Tsushima - Absolutely beautiful. Figure this will do really well.

Oh of course, its all my opinion innit. What games on the Msoft stage interested you out of interest? The ones that I liked the look of were all multi platform to be honest, im trying to find a list of all games announced but I cant see anything.

Sony's titles just blew me away a little more to be honest, the fact they had gameplay helped.

It's not that hard to find a list to be honest.

I posted up the list of exclusive MS games earlier as well (yep, I did, in direct response to a post from you):

They did show a boat load of games though? And there were a load of MS exclusives in that list (GoW, Halo, Cuphead, Crackdown, Forza Horizon 4, Ori). And E3 hasn't officially started. The conferences are beforehand to let you know what to look for when you go there. E3 officially begins tomorrow.

Of those mentioned above, FH4, GoW and Ori all had gameplay shown. FH4 was rather comprehensive and very well done.

Not sold on Kojima these days. I tried to like MGSV but after 20 hours or so I realised I wasn't enjoying it so stopped. Some really great initial game play got too repetitive and what was the base building nonsense all about? Horrible! Not sold on Death Stranding but am happy to be proven wrong. Time will tell.

Yes you did....that isn't all the games they announced tho which is what I was getting at. Im not entirely sure why you seem to have such an attitude...people don't have to agree on here. Move on, deal with it.

Erm, I don't have any attitude. Apologies if it comes across that way, I thought you might have skim-read my post, hence my comment in brackets about it being in direct response to you. I don't expect anyone to be in agreement at all, I think it's great that we all have differing opinions. I was just posting up in response to your comment about the games because you made it sound like they didn't really have much of their own stuff to show, which isn't true.

It really is worth watching it. It's not spoilery just some random scripted combat. No story just an area with some fighting. All the little graphical details within the fighting and on Ellie especially is like nothing I've seen before. It gives you some insight into where ND are at and it is incredible.

There's no point watching a video of something you know you're going to buy. Why spoil anything at all if you don't need convincing? That's why I haven't watched any TLoU2 footage.

I've had it preordered for so long on Amazon that I'll be paying £24 for it on release.

Looks to me after watching some more vids that Sony know they've got this generation "won" and as a result put out a conference just going through the motions showing nothing particularly cool. Game play is nice yes but where were the big reveals?

I reckon PS5 will be announced March 2019, games for it shown at E3 2019 and launch November 2019 or March 2020 at the latest. So all the big reveals are for next E3 and will be PS5 games. The Last of Us 2 and Death Stranding could even be PS5 launch titles.

tbh I don't normally if I know I am going to buy it. I didn't watch the last trailer but I felt like watching this one and I'm glad I did because it was great.

I didn't like the way Sony did the presentation this year, the break after the Last of Us was too much and I almost turned off during the wait.

However can't fault the games that they did show, TLOU2 looked amazing. The only one I wasn't sure about was Death Stranding, a little weird and no idea what sort of game it will be.

The gameplay of Spiderman looked good too and not the qte type thing some thought.

I would have liked to have seen more titles and though COD would have got more time or even Red Dead Redemption with their normal ties to playstation.

How did you get that awesome price?

TLOU2 looked almost too good for ps4 imo, I imagine that will be on both consoles.

TLoU2, Spider-Man and Ghost of Tsushima looked great, they were the standout games for me. Death Stranding looks weird and the gameplay trailer bored me a little bit, but I'll reserve judgement until I've seen more of it.
