I highly recommend getting the Scythe Ninja with the Scythe S-Flex 1600RPM fan. Brilliant Performance! Will cost the best part of £50.

can you exchange for a new mobo, if your mobo is bust

eg a new model not just the bad axe?

I dont see why not, just tell them it seems incompatible with your PSU.

If you have had the mobo under 7 days you can return it under the distance selling act even if it worked fine.

If oyur not looking to overlock your E6600 over 3.6Ghz then the Gigabyes DS3,4 and 6 look good, if oyu want more than that the Asus is the way to go.

hehehehe good man mine was a credit card job but i sold my old rig for 400 which near enough coverd my upgrade :)

Credit Card sounds like a winner.

I'd have bought the bloody whole rig by now if it wasn't for my car :(

Spent 1K on it in the past week due to a service, new brakes, and then they found a fault with the inlet manifold that cost me £650 in parts and labour.

Goddamn cars!

hahahahaha gotta love having a company car don't pay for anything used to h8 car troubles so i know what its like bud :(

First time in 3 years of owning cars have I had a problem... Never mind eh?

Still, some retail therapy in the form of a shiny new rig will sort me out :D

Argh! My order has the status of being printed and waiting to be packed in the warehouse, but now it says it hasnt been printed!
Could this be because I also ordered an item that was on last weeks (i.e. ending yesterday) offers? (namely the x1900xt) Because if I load up my shopping cart now, it says that that item is no longer identifiable as an item they stock. :(

the psu is compatible...the problem is I ordered the bad axe on june 30....so would I still be able to get an exchanged mobo or refund or do I have to wait on another bad axe coming in?
