Ide thrown the towel in on AP due to the lack of content for Terran players, nice to see Ego's finally addressed that lack with a new Terran plot, definatley gonna fire up AP once the updates out.

X Rebirth now has a release date, announced today

15th November for Europe (19th for US)

They have also released the first trailer and some new videos showing a lot of ingame footage and the UI and control layout. No wonder it took them 7 years to develop. Looks absolutely stunning

Been catching up on the youtube trailers. It's looking quite something.

I can't imagine how Version 1.0 will play though. From previous experience it will need a few hefty patches, but Egosoft are quite amazing in that respect.

Yeah, but it wouldn't be an X game without a dreadful, semi coherent plot, appalling CGI, comical voice acting and an intro translated in to English by someone using Google Translate.

Proper solar systems and planetary landing, basically a cross between this and elite and i could die happy
