Woooooo I'd seen on retailers it was 27/12/13! This is ace if it's sooner

Now I'm not sure if I should order Rome 2.. as I'm likely to chuck it when X is out..

I think I will wait until it's dirt cheap as I almost know it will be the same as every other X game they have made but with shinier graphics and slightly better AI

Had not seen the video and thought meh... wont bother but after watching it this game looks really, REALLY nice. May just end up getting this.

Really hope this lives up to expectations, and I hope to god the control system is more newb friendly (not saying dumbed down, but neither having it like bashing your head against a brick wall).

I played X3:Terran Conflict for just over 100 hours, over a full week once. This was when I was unemployed and during a break from my uni studies. What can I say? A bloody amazing experience I tell you. I will be looking forward to this :-D

I hate paying more than £20 for games and the last game I spent more than that was sim city which ended up costing a bout £5per hour game play.
However I realy want this.

Sim city still plagued with any problems by any chance? I'm thinking of getting this in the future actually.

Wouldn't have a clue. I very much doubt they correct the non existent algorithms for people, Holmes, jobs, traffic. Which just makes the game pointless.

Well I for one am up for an OCUK Steam group for this so we can message in game tips to each other, it can be a lonely game at times..

That's probably my main gripe about all the X games (or sandbox singleplayer games in general - TES games also suffer from this probem).

I'm probably on about 1300-1400 hours on XTC in total, was the first one I got into.

Is it actual sat in front of the pc game time though? Often I would leave the game running over night or at work.
