Elden Ring

I get motion sickness with this game, crap.!

I guess it's how the camera movement is set up, I see quite a few posts on it as well for this particular game.

That's weird and a shame!

Slayed my first sheet dragon the other night. Didn't actually find it that hard taking my time, keeping distance and spamming rocks from as far away as possible. Was still cool though!

Just killed the sleeping one (or whatever it's doing) with a golden foot for a cheeky 90,000 runes to level up a bit.

Odd. I do get it sometimes but after 100 hours with this I’ve never had it. Oh well we are all different. I could barely play God of War after the 60fps update initially but I pushed through and it was fine after a while.

Cannot get enough of this game, I am loving it! Just when you think it's going good and cruising, you get your butt handed to you!

I have hit abit of a snag though, I accidentally walloped Castellan on the Ramparts and now he is hostile, am I screwed with this or do NPCs reset?

I literally picked up the controller and hit R2 and smashed him by accident, dammit!

If you have a celestial dew and have found the Church of the Vows, you can request absolution that should reset all NPC aggro.

Hopefully a one off, I only started it today, will try it next weekend see how I get on. I can see the game is great and very interesting with no hand holding, so really hope I can play it without getting that sick feeling.

Made it through the capitol, took three attempts to slay Morgott, Mimic tear helps a lot :) now gone back to finish Taniths questline and am getting ass handed to me by the God devouring serpent :o man that thing is hard!

Biggest gripe is that there is no way to see what quests you have, so if you forget you talked to someone and they said go here and do this, then your screwed :(

Not going to lie, the mimic tear is still massively broken even after they balanced it. And yes, its so hard to keep track of what you should be doing and all the loose ends hanging around. I understand why they haven't got a "quests" system as it takes you out of the immersion of simply exploring but I have used a guide online quite a few times to find items or figure out what to do for X.

How do you refill your health potion bottles, just started and have 3 bottles I think but once used I have no idea how to craft more?
Visit a grace site and they'll refill, it'll also respawn enemies so be careful of that.

If you're wanting more, keep an eye out for Golden Seeds - they'll increase the number you have permanently. Sacred Tears increase the effectiveness.

Thanks, even boss fights?

I also thought I read that killing enemies restored the health potions, but I didn't notice anything when I killed a group of easy prey.

Nah, bosses and any sort of 'major' enemy stay dead. Killing enemies can restore them but can't remember exactly what the crack is with that. Keep an eye for the red ball things when you're out and about - kill them and they restore them as well, I'm sure.

If you kill a group of enemies in quick succession they refill. Doesn’t seem to work if they are at a low level though. I’ve also noticed them refill if you quickly kill a tough single enemy. Not sure how it all works or calculates but it is a very handy thing to have at times!

Ok, cheers. I think I will restart actually not got very far at all, I want to to study the keepsakes again when creating my character as didn't really look into that yesterday and just selected anything, but I might get the keepsake that adds an extra health potion.
Im going with Samarai, seems like a good all rounder for beginners like me to a souls game.

You will find seeds about quite quickly. Think I am up to about 12 refills now. I’ve split them to 6 hp and 6 mp.
