Energy Suppliers

I find myself wondering if Bulb would be better scrapping the expensive referral scheme in order to keep prices down, rather than losing a bunch of customers by increasing prices by ~18%?

British Gas are now ~£100/year cheaper for me. On a 12 month fix deal. With boiler cover thrown in...

I'm still with Breeze on the one year fixed saver which is substantially cheaper than anywhere else I can find. There's no exit fee's and the deal runs out in November so I may as well wait for now.

Fixed for me. It's coming out £6/month more and there's a pretty strong chance the variable tariff will go up before the year ends.

Current Bulb - £729.53
Bulb after rise - £880.64

Octopus - £813.69

Fingers crossed the switch goes smoothly. Don't want a repeat of Together Energy.

So with Bulb we've got until the 11th Nov until the price increases for existing customers. I think I'll hold out until nearer that time before making my decision on who to switch to.
