I think another good thing about the bowling reserves is the youngsters like Harris and Woakes are also decent batters - looks like (hopefully) we will have a long tail for years to come.

Hopefully India will show up to restore some pride in the next match - I'm sure England will get thrashed in the ODIs as usual so we should make the most of the tests whilst it lasts :p

It's not about getting beaten for me though. It's about the total lack of application of the Indian team. I can't be happy when the team isn't putting any effort in, that's ridiculous.

I suppose you're right, I doubt I'll see his 100th 100, but I only hope that India puts some EFFORT into this match. But knowing them, they'll walk into the match knowing it's a dead rubber, and therefore automatically assuming that they'll win it. Whereas England will come in having trained hard all week and will thrash them.



Guys, I'm still undecided on what my banner should say. I'm leaning towards "once you hit rock bottom, the only way is up"
or
"I've got a cold, don't worry, Team India can't catch it"

They don't need support Sigma. This team is the most supported sports team in the world. They will get support no matter what. Also look back at my mega speech on the previous page. In the past I have ALWAYS supported the team through thick and thin.


What they need is a big kick up the bum. Something to say, put some effort in. One Indian player was quoted as saying this:

"We are fighting, we are trying. Everyone is, everyone wants to succeed. Things just aren't working out."

I simply don't buy it. At all. They haven't put the effort in, simple as.

Still, I reckon you're right, that's the best banner to go with. I shall be waving it with energy and zeal.
