See i'd say that Berbatov is *technically* superior to Messi, although admittedly Messi does have a better eye for goal.

:confused: Messi's close control is one of the reasons he's so good! His touch under pressure and with little/no room is second to none
 
Geezus Barca shredding Stuttgart apart...Messi as usual being the immense player he is...seriously anyone who doesnt think hes the best footballer on the planet at the minute needs their heads and eyes checked thoroughly...he scored a blinder and just helped Barca score a second through Toure then Pedro.

Ibrahamovic and Xavi arent being missed much....dont care what anyone says but Barca playing the way they are...definitely faves for the CL title again unless Stuttgart pull off a minor miracle.

LOL just lol...look we know you Utd fans are biased...nothing wrong with that but being so blindingly biased to say that Messi doesnt have the ball control skills that Berba has is highly amusing to say the least:p.

Open your eyes and look more closely at how exceptional Messi is when he has the ball...he has oodles of pace coupled with exceptional ball control; which allows him to get past defenders before they realise what is happening....ive never ever ever seen Berbatov dominate a game singlehandedly like Messi does for Barca in all honesty.

The best team got through and William Hill will tell you who I thought would progress.
Any JM team was the worst we could draw as he just knows all the strengths and weaknesess of his former players, SFL & DD especially, who were completely frustrated, plus he is a complete master at getting the best out of what he's got.
I'm getting a bit worried now about the lack of passion CA shows when on the sidelines, English teams need a kick up the arse at times and that's not happening.
If we lose to Villa in the FA cup it could well be a trophyless year which isn't a problem but as the 1st team is aging and needs refreshing it could be a few more years 'til we can challenge at the highest level again.
