English League & F.A. Cup Football [10th Apr - 14th Apr 2010] **spoilers**

Arsenal are a lot better than you and could even cope perfectly well without CL football for a season or two. They're financially sound and Wenger doesn't rely on big star signings anyway.

Spurs and Villa have never had CL football, we can cope without it as we aren't used to it.

Liverpool are used to CL money and the pull of it to attract and keep players like Gerrard and Torres. City will replace the weakest of the Sky 4 which is Liverpool.

You're in deep ****

lol

To your dissapointment, we're not going to go into melt down if we don't make the CL this year. Financially we're far more secure than people seem to think and all of our top players either have or in Masch's case is about to sign extended contracts.

If City were to consolidate themselves in the top 4 then obviously it will make thigs harder for us but it will make things equally hard for any other side trying to make the top 4. Arsenal may have finished well ahead of us this season but they're far from secure; we finished miles ahead of them last season and ahead of them in 2 of the 3 seasons before that too.

As for you and Villa; I assumed your ambitions was to qualify for the CL. If you're happy with battling it out for Europa league places then you're right, City strength won't affect you at all :)

to be fair last season you were playing above your weight:p

I've been saying for the past 4 years that we have the worst referees ever at the moment.
I would say they get about 1/3rd of the decisions they have to make in a match correct.
The linesmen, are even worse.

Absolutely delighted for Portsmouth and their fans, well done.

Redknapp's face was a picture, even more saggy and slapped-arsed than usual.

Fantastic win for football today.

Errr not quite, Liverpool are seriously in debt to RBS. Dad was in Glascow last week for a meeting and one of the lawyers' brother is a lawyer for RBS and he said that they basically call the shots at Liverpool now.

Your Dad's friend's milkman's cousin can say what he likes but it looks like RBS will have nothing to do with us very shortly and I'll say again, we're not in that bad shape now :)

Pompey won't be getting in to the Europa League will they? I seem to remember reading that they wouldn't be eligible?

Thats right, even if they win the cup they cant compete in Europe next season as they arent registered. Wont stop them trying to win it of course though :)

I don't have any feeling towards Spurs or Pompy. (was nice to see 'Arrys face though :p)

Just thought that Wiley had a shocking game, for both sides, just some really bad decisions.
