could be game over in the premiership already now. only if we can beat chelsea twice can we do anything about this. and given our central midfield deficiencies and chelseas strength on top of malouda weighing in and dorgba:./
dont be so ******* stupid
1stly - Chelsea WILL lose/draw games for one reason or another in the next 36, even thins early its highly unlikely that goal difference will come into it, so they COULD win 28 games lose/draw 10 (similar to last year) and still lose on points
They are capable of being clinical without doubt (as they were at periods last year) but they are just as capable of stuttering to a draw/loss as any of the other top teams
2) It would be great if Utd could beat them home and away, but it isnt essential (both games were pretty close, which certainly on one game relied on ref decisions - just as easily as they could go our way this season) - Utd are still a match for anyone on any particular day, even with such a "weak" squad Utd could get 4/6 points from the two games without being in "dreamland"
3) Whether you compare this result agianst the 2nd game last season, or the actual fulham away game result - Utd still gained a point compared to last year - so even ONE SOLITARY point from both of hte Chelsea games would give Utd the title (if all other results were the same of course)
Im not presuming Utd have already won it - Im just saying small things allow you to win, draw or lose a game and by extention the title, with 36 games to go its pretty darn stupid to already give up on the title
(just to be clear , Im not writing off any other team either - Chelsea are the favourites from the mere fact they won the last title and they have strenthened - I would say - more significantly, but they are still beatable and will undoubtedly drop points to bring others into the race when it gets going)
