Epic Games Store now open!

How quick is quick? The CDN is probably getting hammered on day one of sales but it maxes my paltry 70Mbits out.

Am I being thick, or is there no way to pay for more than one game in a single transaction?

I want to use my £10 coupon, but you have to buy something worth £14.99 or more... the Anno 1800 DLC I was interested in is £14.69, so I was trying to add something else to take it over the required amount, but seems like you can't.

You're correct but you can't use the coupons on DLC anyway.

Kudos to Epic and Ubisoft for giving away AC Syndicate. Doubt I would have ever picked it up but it's a damn good play. Probably my third favourite now after the two mythology ones.

I see that the next title is a "Mystery game" too, it tends to be a big name title when they bill it as a Mystery Game, so I wonder what the next one will be.

It's running for the duration of the "Mega Sale" so there are 3 or 4 more big titles to come. Control would be my preferred option. :p

There's almost a month to go on these sale coupons so no need to rush. That's what I'm telling myself after looking at the amount I've spent on gaming this past fortnight.

I've got quite a decent library of free games, and still not given them a penny. So from my point of view free has been free.

Same. Even that £10 voucher is not persuading me to buy anything. Now if there was something truly exclusive, say published by their own label that would never appear on Steam, then I might be tempted. But otherwise, I just play the waiting game.

But yeah epic games will get us with those free games and make us pay.

That makes it sound like they will lock all those free games in your library they have given away and make you pay a monthly sub to play them. I don't think that would happen but the free games will come to an end at some point and then they may offer their own Game Pass service. I think Steam are actively looking at doing the same thing.

What's the latest with cloud saves on Epic Store games? Has it been rolled out to every single title on there now? I know it only started with a select few last year.

are these the Borderlands goty editions?
I haven't played any of these, if I were to just play one then which one do people recommend?
perhaps the 1st for the start of the story, the 2nd for enhanced gameplay (just guessing)?

The Handsome Collection is the complete versions (incl. DLC) of Borderlands 2 and Borderlands The Pre-Sequel. Better off playing BL2 if you were to just do one.

More info for the internetz to be annoyed about.
