Essential Android Apps

Hmm is it me or does it look like lots of apps are going to ad's and having "pro" or "premium" versions? Astro and Shazam seem to be the first two popular apps that have?

Anyway, just came to post that I'm finally trying out Launcher Pro thingy (had the phone since launch), and it's amazing! loving the 5 quick icons and the customisation of the app! Now to set up all my screens again :( :p

Oh I probably meant something different. Well I meant those 5 on the bottom that add so much functionality, I no longer need to have the specific apps on my actual home screens :p They are just awesome coming from Sense UI keke ^_^
 
Yeah 10, not 5 lol. You have the usual app tray button along with 4 (2 either side) then slide the dock right/left twice for 10 further places to put apps/menus and so on.

Shows how big of a Sense noob I was then! the app gets even better ^_^
 
im using kaeloer or whatever its spelt like but considering removing it as its taking up too much space.. and im having issues with the alarm..

considering getting tasker.. but its pricey

wish ^3 had an equaliser

I tentatively updated Shazam... Thankfully it picked up my previous use and has me as a paid customer for free now :)
 
Sweet Dreams, it works so well I forget it's even installed.

It turns off wifi, data, volume etc on a timer so mines stops at 12am and gets turned back on at 7am. Saves battery and you still get to see what asshat tried to phone you at 4am. It has lots of options but tbh I haven't messed with them too much.
 
So I finally signed up for Twitter (shock!) is Twidroid the best app?

And I just had to lol at Heskey being the biggest Twitter trend at the moment, since he has retired from International football :p

A few years back (when the 8310 was the must-have handset) I went to a meeting and it was like that meeting Patrick Bateman had with the business cards, everyone was flopping their phones out on to the desk boasting about the features and trying to outdo one another, me, I hid my 3210 in my bag for fear of being lynched.
