You obviously haven't worked where I do, I could not be ****** being ridiculed everyday for getting one.

Have to ask... where on earth do you work?? Abercrombie & Fitch? (only place I could think off from the top of my head where the staff could possibly be so stupid and shallow!)

Kaloer Clock people!

Much more peaceful getting up to a 30second fade in alarm instead of a instant max volume one!

im using kaeloer or whatever its spelt like but considering removing it as its taking up too much space.. and im having issues with the alarm..

considering getting tasker.. but its pricey

wish ^3 had an equaliser

What issue's mate ?

I have screen lock on my Desire, This stops the alarm activating !!

Anyone got a workaround without it disabling the screen lock (Heard that's a bug)

Fed up with the stock alarm.

Is there an rss feeder for any rss feeds that has a multi line widget? I tried one but it didn't work on the feed I wanted :/

Yesterday both alarms went off and I turned off one but couldn't get to the other.. had to kill all tasks :/

Cheers for the above!

1: I should have specfied that mp3 ringtones are quiet compared to my Nokia 5800. The standard ring tones appear to be ok. I think that it's down to the generally naff external speaker which can be crackly at full volume. The Nokia has two speakers in stereo and it is crystal clear in comparison.

3: The phone can be set so that when someone (ie "John Smith") calls it goes: ringtone - then speaks "John Smith" - continues ringtone - "John Smith" - continues ringtone. So you can have the phone in your pocket and it speaks to you who is calling if they are in your phonebook.
The Android apps I've found do the speech and ringtone together which is utter pap!
I find this option to be very handy and have gotten very used to it on my Nokia!

When using Voice Caller ID, is there an app or way to accept or decline a call using my voice?

So what is everyones recommendation for a mp3 player? I use mine in the car so I would like one which can keep the screen on.

Thanks

I think the older versions based on 1.6 worked on Eclair, not sure on 1.6 though sorry I forgot the X10 was still running on that :(
You'd still need root access anyway which might be a problem on an X10, root was only achieved last week.

You could try bPlayer but it's not free and I'm not sure if it has that option, most other people would probably recommend DoubleTwist but I'm pretty sure that doesn't have the option to keep the screen on, might be 2.1+ also too.

Edit: This version says it works on 1.6 devices with eclair bits (what ever that means!)
