I found mini much worse for the rendering of web pages, but for this new one they actually seem to render correctly most of the time now, you can see the rendering of the pages happening for a good 1-2 seconds, and it still has some trouble with rendering the pages correctly, also find it very hard to select the page numbers (for this forum), even when completely zoomed in.

That does highlight the issue. I'm wondering if their servers are different between versions and are struggling on the first day of release.
Also, there's no image quality options in the Moblie version. Are the set to best?

That is awful, that never happened to me when using the mobile beta version :confused:

Although saying that the mini browser looks very good, might have to try it out again :)

Hopefully they will improve some of these bugs in the next release and also cut down on the size a wee bit.

Mini is very good indeed. Blazingly fast, excellent rendering and even the slide transitions when a new page loads is pretty neat.

Just tried it again there, it does seem a lot better since the last time I tried it (especially the rendering), although for me it seems very similar to the mobile beta version in terms of the speed and rendering of loading up the web pages etc.

Could you post the settings that you are using please :), that might make mine a bit better.

thought i'd check out the new angry birds only to find that my 8year old daughter had already downloaded it and completed it :/
must have been difficult :rolleyes:

I get the same problem now & again in the XScope browser on my Milestone, so I wouldn't say it's a fault in Opera Mini.

Probably more to do with the touch sensing software in the AndroidOS.
