European Grand Prix 2011, Valencia Street Circuit - Race 8/19

If it takes Hamilton to park his car at the side of the road for button to be faster well...

It didnt - look at Monaco where JB was clearly faster, look at Valencia where if JB had KERS LH would have been behind him again(given how long JB was without KERS for, and LH was only about 15s faster at the finish line)

I guess from your point of view its JB's fault that LH went for a hole that was never going to stay open long enough, and with the weather at that point made it impossible for JB to see him in the first place

So, Jenson Button; with over 100 GP experience, arguably the best wet weather driver in F1 and you are trying to tell me that he didn't know that Hamilton was there?

I think you are doing Button a disservice. He knew exactly what was going on behind him. I think that day, Button was simply in a different mind-set (this happens sometimes) and on that day was not taking any prisoners and was going to drive like he owned the track.

Alonso got in the way - knock him out.
Hamilton is trying to get in the way, squeeze him into the wall.

I'm not blaming Button. He got the win and did well for himself. For me, that was the best I have ever seen him drive. But to say that he wasn't partially responsible for driving Hamilton in to the wall is plain wrong.

Rumours going around that HRT are ditching Kathikeyan and replacing him with Ricciardo for the remainder of the season.

If that's true, Force India would be paying for Liuzzi, and Red Bull would be paying for Ricky to drive someone elses car.

Also, what is it with HRT and dumping Indian drivers halfway through the season?

Actually a good move by FI and RBR. With no in season testing its almost impossible to put your young drivers to the test. If they are on your books already, surely its better to have them out on track rather than stood around in the garage, regardless of who's car they are in?

I hope he does well, tbh. He needs the experience, Red Bull need to know if he's any good, and HRT need the money. Its a win/win/win.

I expect Buemi and Algesuari would be a bit emo if he leapfrogged them and went from HRT to RBR, though :)

Is the rumour that they are so inbred that they are spawning children with extra limbs still going strong? That was the favorate from my area (West Wilsthire).

I appreciate your opinion but dont agree at all

I will have to check replays - but I could have sworn we had a shot of live racing from track level at the same time as the JB/LH incident, and it was impossible to see 1/2 a car length because of the amount of spray, and thats without allowing for the **** /small mirrors they have in the first place

Either way I still think it was a stupid move by LH with the small amount of space already there in that kind of weather

Im not sure how you can blame one incident on a driver in the lead, and in a 2nd incident blame the car behind (baring in mind JB's front wing would be severely at risk in the latter manouver if he was aiming to punt Alonso off. Alonso knew he made a mistake giving JB enough space for the 1st 1/2 of the corner, but took it away for 2nd half (which is why there was no penalty because Alonso was already out)

Looks like McLarens attempt at reducing down force by allowing the front wing to pivot on its mounts has been nipped in the bud by Charlie Whiting.

So the FIA are shown footage of the wing flexing and they say its not acceptable, yet it passes to be legal.

Why couldn't the FIA tell RB there wing in unacceptable, it passes to be legal also.

Whats the difference between RB and Mclaren?

Useless
