So assuming full DUP cooperation she has a majority of 7 when it comes to voting in the commons 328 Vs 321. She needs all DUP votes without a formal coalition and no abstensions from her own ranks.

As the DUP are forming the next government, there are rumblings coming out of Sinn Fein that they might take there seats on a per issue basis (i.e. voting against DUP policies they foist on the Tories).

I thought they'd have to be sworn in though, which requires an MP to swear allegiance to the Queen. Was my understanding that their unwillingness to pledge allegiance what why they couldn't take their seats.
