f you see a lot of interviews with people on picket lines against pro choice, they are people who themselves have had an abortion, that sort of tells you something.
Lib Dem leadership needs to grow a set and step up if they've got any moral courage... would be much better for them to work out a deal (including trying to soften any Brexit negotiations) than to just stand on the sidelines while the DUP makes demands instead.
What does it tell me? I'll answer, it tells me nothing substantial at all.
Those who have an abortion and don't go on to protest abortions far outnumber those who do. Your point is weak.
It's just ignorance. It's never about people they know. Just like racism. Racists always have a best mate who's black. They're usually civil with people they spend time around.Lol you seriously believe people go around having abortions 'willy nilly' like they are going to get their hair done? It is a life changing decision for most people and one they have to live with for the rest of their life. Some people on this site really do amaze me with their hollier than though attitude!
if you look at polls regarding people who have had an abortion, it would say otherwise. MORI poll springs to mind, there's others though
Maybe Mrs May should go to them cap in hand with an offer instead of jumping into bed with the lunatic fringe? Oh but that would require her to acknowledge she messed up the election and needs to compromise and not carry on regardless!Unfortunately they are still telling their members they have no intention of doing so.

Sadly there can't be any deal this time the lib dems are just to far away from the torries on Europe at the minute any weakening of the hard brexit stance will destroy the unity of the Conservative party and the lib dems could never step back from a second reffurendum.
I don't think it would either but it would put pressure on them and show May isn't totally out of touch/ deluded!I don't think it would make any difference - one of my friends is active with the Lib Dems and after the Farron announcement they sent emails around saying that nothing had changed in that respect and that they still absolutely wouldn't entertain a coalition with the Conservatives.
This whole fire incident totally sums up May for me. Hanging around with firemen and security, with no effort to engage people.

She just has to **** off as soon as humanly possible. She just doesn't feel comfortable dealing with everyday people, who make up the majority of the country. Even the Queen does a far better job, rather she was PM.
Perhaps you should take that chip of your shoulder. I wouldn't want to go mingle with all the corbyn momentum left wing socialist riff raff that have been hanging around there just waiting to use this for political gain either.

Whilst I agree she should go, I also think her meeting the people wasn't her sole choice. More likely her being advised that she would basically be publicly humiliated By the multitude of very vocal "labour voters" for use of a better set of words to describe them. This whole fire incident totally sums up May for me. She has about as much charisma as potato, who on earth would genuinely want to be comforted by her? It would be utterly disgenuine sympathy. I think the victims got lucky not having to meet her.
It's never really a great time to have a tragic event like this, but it's just being used politically by all sides and it's frankly sick and the media love it.
