F1 2015 - Teams and Drivers - Who goes where?!

@PitLaneTalk 1 Oct 2014 - Thank you for all the disrespectful messages. The account will only be deleted if Alonso won't leave Ferrari at the end of 2014. #F1.

So that suggests he's going no where...:o

I'm not sure Button would get spanked to the extent KMag will though. Button is dependable and nearly always finishes higher than he started.

Also the Twitter account seems to be pretty sure that Alonso ISN'T going to McLaren anymore?

[Similarly, Damon Hill turned down Dennis’s low offer for him to join the team in 1997, a salary of a reported 1 million pounds…despite bringing the No.1 with him to McLaren.

It was slightly more than that iirc and had a million pound per race win bonus. I thought it was a great offer considering Damons age. Yeah he earnt more money at Arrows and Jordan but he could have won at least one more title and far more money with a Mclaren deal depending on who his team mate was.

Regardless Mclaren are a **** location for any top driver to expect consistent cars and consistent title challenges. I will die inside if Alonso goes back to that festering hole of greyness. I dream of they day they go into administration. Boring monotone finns that they could un-plug and slot in another was the right thing for them.

22 cars on the entry list

The FIA has issued an entry list for 2015, featuring the same 11 teams as this year, despite the fact that two of the teams are in administration. The only real points of interest are that Marussia Racing has become Manor F1 Team and Caterham is now named CF1 Caterham F1 Team, which would seem to suggest that the buyers may have done a deal with the administrator. The entry fees of more than $500,000 must be paid by the end of the month.

Good news (depending on how you look at it) that, potentially, Caterham and Marussia may have been saved, still it's a long way before actually lining up on the grid first race next year.

Very harsh. The brand is very grey maybe, the people certainly not.

Paying Magnussen maybe 1mil a year to get spanked silly by Alonso or pay Button 10+ mil a year to get spanked by Alonso, seems a pretty easy choice to me.

All depends if there is a £10m difference in what KM can get apposed to JB when combined with Alonso's "spanking" (which everyone said would happen to JB vs Lewis at McLaren and never did) in the WCC ......

Lol at that Twitter account. I might make one and start some rumours and see who follows it.

No the people are too, anyone with any personality get's it knocked or sucked out of them. Certainly since the senna days. Grey corporate PR team lacking any personality. It's the John Major of the grid. I don't have high hopes that will change with Honda. Unless Honda have changed their way of working since the BAR days. They were soulless drones too wandering the pitlane.

Drivers get a lease of life and personality once they cut loose from there. They actually get to speak their minds.

Sauber's confirmed their 2015 lineup.

Felipe Nasr will be alongside Marcus Ericsson.

Now that one's a surprise. Must come along with a chunky cheque. Shame for Van Der Garde, but I assume that he'll stay on as tester.

Wonder where Palmer will end up, if at all.
