F1 2015 - Teams and Drivers - Who goes where?!

If Alonso is bringing his own trainer as well, which I've read elsewhere he will be bringing a few of his ex Ferrari guys... hmm. Like you say though, not worth reading too much into it.

Carlos Sainz is dropping the 'junior' part of his name for F1 and revealed that he has picked the number 55 to race throughout his F1 career.

"Since my childhood I have had success with number 5," he said, "but Vettel has this number." Sainz explained that the final 'S' in his first name and the first 'S' in his surname resembles the number 55.

Another good marketing number, like Bo77as

I'm a bit annoyed that F1 doesn't allow stylized numbers like NASCAR (where he could have had 05), or WEC (where the Aston Martins run 007 while there is another car simply numbered 7).

So, I thought that McLaren were going to announce the drivers on 1st Dec?
What happened?

No, they said no earlier than the 1st of December. Though I've got to say, it's sort of comforting to know that I'm not the only person in the world subjected to your MO of reading one word out of six and projecting from there....

Its late enough now that it is confirmed whoever doesn't get the McLaren seat won't get a seat elsewhere in F1. McLarens decision will end a drivers (current) F1 career.

Yea and while it hasn't been entirely their fault, it's been poorly handled.

Could end up being a year in GP2 for Magnussen or WEC for Button? :D

Does anyone else get the feeling that Honda want Button and McLaren want Kmag and that's why the whole thing is dragging on and on?
