But we're getting the fastest safest races with so little fuel and most cars finishing the races. Take a look at some F1 history.

Hmm, the V8 era where we had Ferarri after Ferrari winning, it hasn't changed.

The V8 era Honda had fallen behind by the end, just as the ICE has thus far been their major issue in the V6 era.

The problem is that you pull the V6s and the manufacturers will all threaten to walk. What are we going to do, get the old DFVs out of the shed?

Just watched sky sports round up. The mclaren throigh turn 3 with alonso able to take multiple turn ins because the car is capable of so much more than the engine is able to give.

V10 wasn't so much an era as a blip, 2000-2005 when V10's were the only option. V8's had been allowed up to that point and from 2006 to 2013. Honda made very few V8's.
Anyway why are we arguing over this?

Vettel doing a 1:19:3 on softs is more impressive than the ultrasoft runs. Ferrari sandbagging on pace as well as Mercedes. Wish they'd all just bang in 1:18's so we can see the true power
