Fallout: New Vegas

The game has run perfectly for me, not one crash so far, which is more than can be said for fall out 3.

Also, the game is very addictive, my fave weapon so far is Maria :D

Folks, as far as the audio is concerned, I have a Creative 5:1 set up here on my main PC that I'm playing on but it doesn't seem to have any audio coming out of the rear speakers?. I can't see any options within the game settings to adjust to a 5:1 setting, any ideas why it isn't coming through all speakers?.

Beyond that one gun shooting glitch which was fixed with a shutdown and restart, the game has worked quite well (certainly compared to FO3).

Really enjoying the game and the story - one poster before said it feels less "epic" which I certainly agree with. However, it seems like the rest of the game is better - dialogue particularly.

Finding it far easier to die in this game than FO3, getting quad teamed by 4 giant rad scorpions and only a 9mm to defend myself with isn't nice.

Tell me about it, walked into some administration building inside the NCR prison and got pwned hard by around 10 dudes. (on hardcore) so healing sucks..

Of course i totally forgot to save once and had to keep reloading the auto-save as i entered the building. Took 4-5 attempts but got the ******* to much relief.

main story completed, *no spoilers*
***** thats the ***** variant
am very disappointed in this, it is pretty much a recycled fallout 3 with less than half the content shame on bethesda

Anyone know how to do G.I Blues without killing the NCR?

Pretty sure you have to do the optional part where you are asked to speak to someone in the Mormon Fort to get a diplomatic end.

So come on then who has everyone chosen to go in front of Dino? :D

The one who kept paperwork on their human trafficking activities.

Played a couple of hours so far and am enjoying it rather a lot. Seems well balanced atm, selected the harder, more realistic game play settings. Managed to get a smooth playable experience despite a low frame rate when 8xAA was used. Too tired now to continue so will have a longer session tomorrow.

I'm at a complete loss her guys. I have two save files (auto and quick) that will no longer open on my computer (the game just crashes when it tries to load them)

Would anyone try opening them ( save files go here C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV\Saves) and if they will open, get me out of the area I am currently in and re-saving and sending them back to me?

Just spent 8 hours without a proper save and I would have to have lost all that work.

Here they are:
