Why would anyone willingly use an Xbox controller for this game...?
I will be as well means I can sit back in the chair and relax rather then being hunched over the desk.....

This ^^ and because it isn't really an FPS
Because its not possible to relax in a chair while being by a desk...
Its as much an FPS as it needs to be and when, especially early game, your aim is critical to survival as VATS is useless (and would be a pain anyway scrolling through every option...) i think i prefer not dieing because i could aim...
Wonder how the Steam Cloud will work as Fallout3 uses anywhere from 8-14MB per save so the usual Steam Cloud 100MB or so allocated will run out real fast!I like that this uses Steam Cloud . Will probably use my Xbox controller for it to.
For me its far comfier relaxing back in my chair.. I had over 140+ hours of enjoyment out of fallout 3 playing with a controller and had no issues.
Each to their own...
140+ hours and not a single problem with the poor aiming? Pull the other one.

I hope they have allowed for this as with Fallout3 you could go back to a much earlier save if you messed up hours later!
I use Vats as i quite like it.....never really noticed a problem with the aiming..
Probably a limited number of save slots similar to Just Cause 2 (for those of you who have played it). Unless Steam Cloud won't back up saves, just game settings.
If VATS alone gets you through the game either you're playing on Very Easy or the game isn't as difficult as i remember it on vanilla. Pretending you had no issue with aiming doesn't mean it wasn't there.
Played it on normal. I,m not pretending anything i,m saying i never found an issue with aiming... But i presume as you did i must be wrong...???
I wanted to get it on steam but my girlfriend also loves FO3 and at least with the disk edition we can play on our own logins without having to buy the game twice!
I, also, had no problem with the aiming. You have to remember that weapons were a skill so even if you were aiming dead on in the FPS view you could still miss. VATS I used 80% of the time I reckon as it was easier and you got to see the body being blown to bits on crits.
Well assuming she doesn't use Steam just log your account in and set it onto offline mode and to never sync with the steam cloud (in the event you do need to go online for an update or something). Though that would only work if you were using seperate computers... steamcloud could mess things up if it has a limited number of save slots, but you could still prevent it from using it and copy/paste different saves across if you have to.
