I tend to stay away from Liverpool players, Benetiz (sp) tends to rotate hsi squad more than Chelsea does. There are only a hand full of guarantee starts of players, the rest might only play every other game.

The rotation thing is missleading; yes we don't play the same 11 every game but the majority of the side plays every game and its only the wing areas and 2nd forward that has been rotated. Reina, Carra, Agger, Finnan, Gerrard, Torres and proberly Alonso, will start most if not all our games and did last year up untill we rested a few for the CL semi and final (with the exception of Torres, where Kuyt played instead).
The players i said there will start as much as any other player for another club. The likes of Pennant, Kuyt, Crouch and whoever joins as our other wingers, will be the ones subject of the rotation.

my team is

Nolan has been a disappointment last season, Defoe isn't a certain start for spurs, Keane and Bergatov is in front of him and unless he comes off the bench and scores he won't get the points for playing. And 2 Everton midfield is risky, Arteta is a good buy because he takes freekicks, corners and penalties so chances of assists is quite high. With Cahill he would have to score to make an impact.

Ok you've squeezed it out of me :p

Ashton for 7.0

Ashton was one of the first bargain players I looked at but in the end thought against it as I haven't even heard if he's going to be fit for the start of the season and even then he'll proberly take some time to get going after his long lay off. Not to mention given West Ham losing most of their best players there's no guarantee West Ham will do well next season.

I think Earnshaw is a good buy at 5.5 - Guaranteed starter and during his last spell in the Premiership scored his fair share of goals when Robbo played him. Good option for the bench IMO.

Arteta is a right rip off this season, I'd much rather save some money and get someone like Pederson or at the same price someone like Giggs who although wont play every week will get plenty of points when he does play. Personally I think Cahill is a bargain for a regular goal scoring midfielder.

Aye, I did this last season with another forum and I had Cahill & Jimmy Bullard.

Bullards injury screwed my season.

I'd usually be tempted for a couple of Bolton midfields (Campo etc) but without Big Sam there, I think they will struggle...

This is my team so far. I might just leave it as it is. I don't know much about the important players for the clubs outside the top 5 or 6 so have spent big on key players. My defence is pretty poor I think other than Primus and Terry. We shall see, here it is:

My team has changed a bit (and not for the last time either). Wondering what others think about it.....

Friedel

Jagielka, Chimbonda, Vidic

Ronaldo, Arteta, Gamst Pedersen, McSheffrey, Reo-Coker

McCarthy, Tevez

* Unsure about Chimbonda & Reo-Coker.
* Waiting to see whether Tevez makes the switch to Man Ure.
* Tempted to replace Arteta with Cahill.

I'm in, team name Chocolate Teapot:

1: James

2: Toure 3: Terry 4: Lescott

5: Ronaldo 6: Campo 7: Hunt 8: Fabregas

9: Van Persie (C) 10: Berbatov 11: Ashton

Ashton will be swapped out if he isnt fit in time.
