Far Cry 4 due this November

If someone bought new computer parts say and were going to build a monster of a PC on Saturday, assuming said parts arrive, how would one transfer their FC4 savegame from their current PC to the new one? Is it as simple as downloading, installing and logging into uPlay and then getting FC4 downloaded?
 
Hi. i have the latest Nvidia drivers which are 347.09 and running the most up to date game version of v1.6 of this game.

The issue i am having is that whilst playing the game, both my GPU load uses only half of its power which effectively means i am kind of using just one 980gtx to run this game.

as a result, at 2560x1600 res, i only get around 40fps with every graphics settings maxed out.

At my resolution and the GPU power i have, i should be running this a lot better but it seems this game refuses to use the full load of my graphics card.

Other games tend to use the full load of my graphics card so dont think it is a driver or hardware issue.

Here are the rest of my specs

Intel core i7 920 clocked at 4ghz

9gb DDR3 Ram

850w corsair Gold edition PSU.

Hope someone can help me.

jonneymendoza have you checked your CPU usage? Maybe there is a CPU bottleneck?

I have a similarish setup (X58 xeon and OC 970 Sli) and also only get drops to around 40fps with max settings, however If I use SMAA instead of 4x TXAA it gets a solid 60fps with Vsync at 2560x1600. Have you tried using SMAA ?

I feel your pain. My advice. Give up. It runs and stutters like crap on my system. Spec in sig.

If you refer to gameplay as standard then yes I agree it does follow the pattern of some other FPS inc obviously FC3 but then again you can say that about just every other game that turn into a series inc COD, MOH etc. different location but same style of play with new additions

standard.............uum !!!

both FC3 and FC4 lack ZAP, it doesn't have the Borderlands craziness, the games have no personality ......esp the guys you play.

FC3 would've been way better if you played as Psycho Sykes in it :D and the bandits more like the lunies in BL2, they had it with the Vass adverts before FC3 came out, the game looked genuinely menacing......but alas it failed.

FC4 is the same, the Far Cry series has quite a few faults, the problems with its graphics are the least of these.

it has the wrong guys making the game, they seem a dull bunch
