Fastest speed

Driver: 100(indicated) in my seat Ibiza,

Passenger: 140 in dad's BMW 840 Ci Sport, 135 in a modified R32 GTS

Mike

135-140 (bike) While I don't agree with it i'd be surprised if it was any more than 15mph out at worst.

As a passenger 120ish (the ex wasn't used to cars that don't sound like they are about to explode at high speed) and burnt 1/2 a tank of derv doing 120 miles with me asleep in the passenger seat. That said a ton in my uncles Jag at the age of about 8 with him putting his hands behind his head, interlocking his fingers and turning to my father and saying 'see, steady as a rock' was a little random.

Passanger - 180 or so in a Bentley Conti GT
Driver - 155 limiter of a 2005 745Li

did it actually limit at 155? as in my experience BMW limiters tend to be soft. (E46 M3, E39 M5, E60 M5) all around 160-165 GPS or 165-170 indicated.

On a German autobahn, MrMatteh was a witness and took the photo :D

I did actually get it off the clock on a French toll road, ran out of road on the autobahns because slow stuff kept getting in the way :(

After seeing everyone else do it on the autobahn, I came to the conclusion that it was a good idea to leave your lights on if going really fast :D

Most likely to be higher, as it still felt like it was accelerating despite the needle sitting at 155 :)

on a my cbr 600 - 171mph indicated in the slipstream of my mates newer and slightly quicker R6.

in a car driving- 145mph indicated in my XR2... took 3 or 4 miles to get there though!

passenger - 200+ indicated in my mates tuned cossie (4 up too!)... clocks went to 170 and the needle was back round against the 0...

np.

for the record there are quite a few Sierras and a few escorts that will break the double ton.
takes about 500 ponies to do it though.

yeah, my mate has the right stuff in their... pectel 8 (i think) ecu, traction control, coilovers, 8 injector rail, twin WRC fuel pumps, a hybrid turbo and bigger injectors, cams, headwork etc...

hes after an RS500 block though now to fully rebuild now to take the 200 shot of *** he wants to put through it.... :o ive already got a bet on with him that the gearbox will go before the engine does.

By self - 135/140 according to the clock on GPZ600/GSF600.

In car by self about 120

In mates car with him driving 130

all mph
