I keep getting this error 900000 too, paying to play when the servers can't cope. I want my money back!

Edit: PC just crashed for the second time today while playing this game. Time to try figure out why

I havnt had server problems since the early release days. Since the patches i've not had a single disconnect, and my PC has never crashed whilst playing.

Have you noticed any pattern to the disconnects/PC crashes? do they happen in specific areas in the game or performing certain tasks?

Also, what server are you on? I also believe BT have some issues with this game at peak times.. if you look back a few pages there are details and links on how to fix it.

I have a 60Mb Virgin Media connection at the moment. Will check online if other VM users are affected too.

I'm on VM 60MB too, not had any problems, don't really know what to suggest then.. What server are you playing on?

Yeah, it's kind of a two way system where it sends an invitation and the recipient has to accept before they appear on your friends list.

Yep, its about to get that way for me as well I think, My cousin brought me GTA so i'll probs want to play that this weekend! - Still really enjoying FF14 though

I gave this a try last night but I could nor create a character on any of the European servers as none were accepting new characters. What am I doing wrong or am I being forced to use a US server?

You aren't doing anything wrong. But due to the high demand it doesn't let you create characters on said servers in peak times.

I couldn't create one on Odin the other night, so I waited until morning, loaded the game, loaded my character appearance and created it then. Once its created, you can log on flawlessly.

Fair enough, but having all of the european ones closed at any time is absolutely ridiculous.
