received an Square-Enix email regarding pre-ordering for early access, anyone taking the plunge?

I pre-ordered the CE from Zavvi the day they put it up, hoping they'll have early access or other incentives added at a later date as usual.
NDA lift confirmed for Phase 3.
Anything can be discussed, pictures from Phase 3 can be posted but Audio and Video are still prevented.
Roll on 14th June!
Disappointed to read that EU and NA servers will be located in same data center so looks like we'll probably still have roughly the same latency as previous when they were all in Japan.

thanks again for the info Xinn, will add that to the OP. Hopefully there'll be some sort of screenshot function for FFXIV on the PS3 like in other games.Also what a treat, both The Last of Us and FFXIV Beta in one day!
Edit: Product links in OP updated for those still looking, it seems like Zavvi currently has the cheapest offering for the Standard Edition on PS3 at £23.98.

Uuumm.....just noticed I still have my PS3 pre order on Amazon which I made back in October 2011 for £7.75. I have the original Final Fantasy XIV on PC and wont need to repurchase the game according the email I got from SE which is good.

Looks like ShopTo are offering early access and bonus content (not sure as to what just yet) on their pre-orders for both versions of the game on both PC and PS3 (that is the Standard Edition and the Collector's Edition). Swapping my pre-order from Zavvi to ShopTo as it's slightly cheaper with the latter and is listed as containing the bonuses.

I pre-ordered the standard PS3 version with Shopto.
From the last Live Letter the PS3 version looks really smooth and fast and it'll be nice to play lying in bed while doing some mindless farming or something xD
I'll still main on PC though. Can't wait for next Friday!

I get to lie in bed and slack around while doing general stuff in the game, and I've got my PC to hop onto if I need to do more serious stuff like dungeons (or rather I'd feel more comfortable doing dungeons at my PC with a keyboard and mouse).Yeah i know, wont be cancelling my PS3 version as i got it for so cheap. But I be playing my PC version as I already have it installed.
Nope, you still need have to a copy for the platform you are playing but your character account will work on both.

Jesus... some of those voices are plain terrible
The "Nael Van Darnus" type bad guy sounded like an American teenager acting tough through a toilet roll. Same with Cid, way too young for his age.
Guess it makes sense they'd spend buttons on voice actors in the English version considering the fortune they have spent recruiting the famous voice list of the JP version.
The good news however, we can switch to Japanese audio

I'm sure what this means. Is he saying that the PS4 version will simply work the same as the PC and PS3 version, in that you can use the same character on these systems, or that you can somehow move over to the PS4 version for free?
