I love Yoshida, you can tell how much this game means to him! Pre-ordered on GMG, £15 with the pre-order bonuses for the PC Download Version. Can't be bad to that! I didn't know there was housing in this game though? He did say it would be clan/guild restricted, but may open up to individual players in the future.

Yeah at first housing is limited to Free Companies. I actually didn't know this but a mate told me earlier while watching the Live English stream last night.

Yeah, that is the first I have heard of it too! and normally "is there housing" is the first question I ask about MMO's lol! Can all you guys in Beta let us know how it is? Especially PS3 guys?

See, with the announcement that this is now coming to the PS4 as well, I don't know whether to hold off on the PS3 version and just stick with the pc for now.

Although, currently downloading the beta to give it a shot.

I can say with almost 100% certainty I will be playing Scholar when it goes live. HoT healing class with a little pet.

They seem to be having issues at present, can't create a character. I'm stuck over a Archer/Bard or a Marauder/Warrior.

i got my beta key this morning but it won't let me use it keeps saying region invalid when i try to register the code. anyone else encountered this problem?

A few people have had this issue. Not sure what is being done about it though, check the ffxiv sub reddit and see if there's anything you could try.

Now the NDA is mostly lifted if anybody has any questions or screenshot requests drop a post here and I'll try my best to answer / provide screenies.

Anybody on Beta phase 3 on Odin server feel free to add me, character name : Kaiku Hai (will only work if I'm online though, which is likely to be at all times during Beta

What dungeon can you do at lvl 15 if you started in Ul'Dah, any idea?

Not sure on Ul'dah dungeon first time Ul'dah been available in Beta.

Yup! There's a dungeon here called copper-something mine, but you can't speak to the NPC outside of it, so who knows whether that's low level or not.

are console users on the same servers as pc users like ffxi ?
btw remember the game is under NDA you aren't even allowed to post screenshots outside of the beta forum even though the graphics are awesome on pc and probably still good on console

It's phase 3, NDA is now lifted but you can't post videos. That's the only restriction.

I'm in the pc beta 3
there's still a sticky in the beta forum saying don't post screen shots outside of the forum etc? , all the older stickies are still there as well reminding people not to talk about the beta on twitter . facebook
