Personally I'd consider half a megabit per second to be pretty fast for residential service.

Two out of three on 56s here.

getting 8mb up from 512 soon and it will be free compared to £22/month were paying now. Shame the upload is rubbish and its limited to 40gb/month.

Jumped on the talktalk bandwagon if anyone's interested. Free broadband with cheaper phone.

seems to be back up for now - fingers crossed

read this thread and ask yourself if you can contribute and understand you'll get rubbish work sometimes - then write something good without mentioning the lust for points and wait'n'see

It's not a closed group - just kept out of the way of general public to keep the place a bit more tidy


edit: hmm I've just realised that there are quite a few applications seemingly not dealt with for the last month or so - some mention of systems testing and involvement with other beta testing might not go amiss - if you've done them of course

gone from 590 to 680 output wise, still a huge drop from 950.

just set up a 8pc farm for team 10 all working on 200 pointers ,
with a personally single cruncher on the side (working on a 153 and 116)

all machine will be running 8-10 hours a day minimum. just though you'd like to know

If we can get a nice steady stream of users that would be awesome. We already have loads of newcomers. Russia might be about to stomp us but I'm sure as hell gonna be sticking my fingers up at them as they go by!

You can't really use the medical side of it, and suggesting its a good way to benchmark cpu's is a bit dubious because its mostly luck of which units you get.

I could try something on the same theme as my sig...
