I see nix is adding some more info to the sticky. Could you please untick the 'show signature' box to make it a little neater.

Would have been better if you had asked us all if it was ok first, but it looks alright. The main sticky ended up there after much discussion and debate.

Im only getting between 99 and 199 points for the WUs I keep getting. They're pretty fast so my rig is just chewing through them. Wouldn't mind having one or two 300+ pointers though!

Oh yeah, j00 R *** St0mp3d... or something. Unforgiven is my next target! He averages 10points more than I do per day though. Gonna have to do something about that... *gets the mustard*

Ive been getting too many 44 pointers :(

I had a quick chat with rich99million about it before I went ahead. I'm sure if anyone disapproves you can remove it, there'll be no hard feelings :)

I'm glad you think it's okay though :p

maybe if it would fit better in with one of the other posts it can be included in with one of those, depending on available picture slots of course :o

edit: just seen it's 3 posts long in itself - that's not gonna fit in anywhere else :p
well it's fine at the bottom anyway - if it could have a link or two from the above posts where relevant that would be nice, I will link it from the news later on when I'm not 15 minutes late for work already :eek: :D

Lovin my 30 in Top Dumpers (I would be higher if i could only get more than 60 hours crunching time for each my rigs a week)

Sadly nothing we can really do to stop TSC! Russia :(

The 100MHz OC on the 4400+ was a complete fluke :p I saw that 3DMark was underreporting my HTT so I upped it by 10MHz in the BIOS to see if it was a random error or not. Came up reporting 2300MHz CPU :eek:

Temps didnt twitch either so when I get my new HDD im gonna see how far I can clock this beast so production might go down in a few weeks.

Thats fine, its looks pretty good. Just don't want people adding anything they feel like. Thanks for removing the signatures, i find it makes it look a little neater.

I think i'll add the folding myths to the bottom of the quick guide, make it a different section.

I'm liking the graphs on this page! :D
 
Yes, i'll do it, but not yet. Can't have too many gd threads.

First, i will compile a list of folding myths/poll options and put it in the sticky, then i'll ask for your input on it. Then i'll make a thread in the gd sometime.

We can't have one gd thread after another, because its not really our forum and people will get sick of it.

Judging from my experience the AMD64 will crunch faster. Mine (slightly overclocked) easily beats a stock P4 630 that I also have running FAH. I am only running one FAH instance on the 630 though.

There are 21,000 members on this forum. If 1,200 of them became active folders we would be #1.
I reckon the gd gets more than 1,200 unique visitors a week.
Or course a large number of people run boinc instead, but there would still be 20,000 people left over to run boinc if we had 1,200 active folders.

Many of the top teams are much smaller forums than we are.
