Another great week - although we lost some production we've still made large gains on all teams in view and have lengthened our lead on the closest risk.
I have a feeling that the lost production is due to the stats "hiccup" and will be credited back once Stanford have finished their upgrades.

Good work again rich. Just a suggestion - can we have a team 24hr average at the top by this weeks production? It would be nice to see the average steadily increase week by week

very good idea - I'd not thought of it as the weekly (7x24hr) figure is there already, though it's very easy to calculate so I'm happy to add it

Garp did get it to match at one point but it vastly increased the size of something along the way - something to do with 8k and 24k thingymagigs


this is why I don't do sigs

though I could sort the problem in the news post by not including my sig in them - that thought has crossed my mind a few times

edit: I won't be changing my siggy though - I like being a bit different

I wasn't trying to raise any sort of compitence issue, I thought the tables were all sourced from some stat server! Manually done then eh? Nice to see people putting in their own time, I don't want to make any sort of fuss but it would be nice to be in the league please as I intend on making a solid contribution to the team

Yep it has to be done manually as Stanford don't take kindly to bots crawling through their cgi stats pages which is the only place to get the number of active CPUs
The news itself could be done automatically from the Fast Teampage which permits the use of bots etc but as you can see there's no mention of active CPUs, I'd like to avoid a totally automated system though as I think it'd take some of the fun out of the whole thing

I will however have to look into getting more of the news process automated as when I started it off we only have around 50 active members as opposed to the 150 at the moment (way to go team!) as well as the addition of the single machine list. I get Excel to do all the dull stuff but it still takes between 1 - 1.5 hours from start to finish and can be a bit of a mission at times, however it's all worth it once it's finished (or at least 99% done most times anyway )

on any machine with SSE it's pretty darn good - it's a Gromacs and has double points due to being larrrrge

edit: my X2 at stock was getting 220-230 from the p1164 - that's about double what it gets from a small Gromacs

No, ther was a problem in stanfords results server and it got switched off for a bit, hence the delayed results. if you look about you will find most teams have the same glitch on the 19th.

yup there's a low point one day and then a huge spike the day after


the one that's worrying me is the production hit on 1st July and seemingly no rush of credit since - the 1st was the day they started updating the stats servers I think so it's possible everything since is just delayed
I'm sure if there's any missing credit it'll find it's way home just as soon as the next re-crediting run
