**Football 19th-22nd March** 2010/2011

Looking forward to the clash of the moneybags later on (0-0). So how much are both squads worth these days?
If we were to sell our first 11:
Joe Hart-£15m
Richards-£10m
Kompany-£15m
Lescott-£10m
Kolarov-£10m

Silva-£25m
Toure-£15m
De Jong-£20m
Barry-£8m

Tevez-£50m
Balotelli-£10m (At the moment)
Dzeko-£15m

I think Carroll looked a lot better in the 2nd half, he will come good. Gotta remember he's been out for 3 months...

Great goal there, keeper gambled and got it wrong.

I assume he means prices paid, wasn't even Kolarov like £18m? Dzeko on a £10m+ loss?!:p

Tevez has failed a fitness test so Dzeko the lone striker....

Will be interesting to see how he does considering this is supposed to be how he plays best.

Surely not a clear goal scoring opportunity though? Either way would have been another yellow, not sure it was a straight red (I think it was a straight red?).

Merieles has been class again today. Always seems to make so much room for himself and rarely makes the wrong decision. The only positive to come out of the nightmare that was Hodgsons reign.

It will be very hard to have a player like Caroll and not end up playing long ball football.

Despite the hype i dont think Dalglish is clever enough to use Caroll and Suarez properly.

I really hope he gets the managers gig permanently.

Dalglish has , and always has had, a very strong understanding of the bigman, littleman front pairing. I'm actually much more confident of him understanding how to use that partnership than any other form of partnership.

Yeah i totally appreciate that but i dont think he has the fundamental managerial ability to underpin it.

The "big man little man" is an outdated concept in modern football

However i would be interested to see how many times Liverpool full backs will play it long when chasing the game in the hope of hitting the big man.
