** Football 21/22 April ** *spoilers*

Are you joking? Can only assume you are. Hahahaha, if so.

If you aren't joking, what part of 5 minutes injury time, then playing 6 isn't cheating?

Right, 2 Liverpool subs + 2 arsenal subs + 7 goals. So lets say 30secs/sub (standard time is it not?) and 25secs/goal.
Thats 5minutes + Fabregas being an utter idiot everytime Liverpool wanted to take the freekick and a few small injury times, oh look, thats 6 minutes.

So whats wrong? Not bothering to talk about this anymore, agree to disagree, games over, you cant go back in time and stop the game before Liverpool get the 4th so get over it :)

Frankly, I don't know why people use this game to say why the league is so good, the reason it was so exciting was the truly awful defending by both teams, though worse from Arsenal. Thats been exactly what La Liga has been for years, countless 4-4's in that league this year.

Thats exactly why the league is so good, I dont want crappy dull boring 0-0s and 1-0s and 2-0s. Its the awful defending 4-4s and 3-3s that make for good entertainment for me (which at the end of the day is what its all about for me). La Liga might have had quite a few high scoring matches too, I'd probably watch that too if they made everyone speak english :)

In all fairness it's not the 5 minutes i'm bothered about, i'd say that was fair. So the 4th goal in the 'fair' time is all well and good. The 6th minute was pure BS though, if Liverpool had scored imagine the reaction

There were 2 goals and a subsitution (and Fabregas' timewasting) during the added time. An extra minute is hardly ott.

he was only doing that because the ref wasn't doing his job - every free kick/throw in pool were taking an extra 10-20 yards from where the infringement took place.....absolute **** joke yet they keep getting away with it.

on the bright side disjointed lump of the year carragher didn't get away with any penalties as usual against us.

It's consistency i'm looking for (as is everyone else) - how often do Refs add extra time for Goals/Subs in added time over the already allocated injury time? Hardly ever. For me, Webb was being an arse, but then that's not overly surprising.

Yeah, can't see the issue myself. The added time was fair really.

Benayoun is motm apparently and Arshavin barely gets a mention having made Reina look second rate.
In fairness, Arshavin, while being immense, did little beyond his scoring. Benayoun and Torress tormented our back line all night.

every team does it everygame, part of football today just like the wall mooching forward every freekick. But Fabregas ding it constantly and not getting booked was just silly

You have to remember that it's a minimum of x amount of minutes. You are possibly right regarding the consistency but he was correct to add the extra minute. Maybe it doesn't always happen as there might not be anything to play for.

You even said when it happened that after seeing the replay it was offside and then somebody (wrongly) said it was onside and you've changed your mind :p

My err tv got fuzzy while seeing it (*coughs*), so wasn't sure at the point I posted. Felt it was level at least but gave the benifet of doubt to the defender.

Getting later confirmation from other sources right after it happened (even in this thread) as well...deffo onside.

Must admit, I cant remember the last time I saw someone actually take a throw in from where it went out. Its always the old "pretend to clean the ball while I shuffle forward 6 feet" , "pretend to look around for someone to throw to while I shuffle forward another 6 feet" lark.

Mind you, its just another one of the little white cheats that all teams use...like the substition where the guy on the pitch strolls off slowly and then the guy coming on rockets on at speed.

i think we tormented ourselves, if torres was really on form he would have bagged 4 himself .....he had a good game but at the end of the day Arshavin scored 4 away goals.

Its quite ironic that man utd fans are complaining about added time; man utd over the last 20 years have always got 5 minutes when there was no reason for it (and they always scored); fergie always got his way, and you are CRYING now that liverpool got lots of injury time. Get a life.

Man utd fans are even resorting to posting pictures of arsenal players; signs of desperation if you ask me :p

Desperate for what, exactly?
