** Football 21/22 April ** *spoilers*

Yea it was. But since that trophy we've won a CL and FA cup. And you give us **** about going on about history? :p

Liverpool Utd wasn't close in terms of excitement as today or the 2nd leg of the CL game with Chelsea.

Someone clearly never watched Im on Setanta Sports i see =p

As for the game, let down by our defence again, lost us the CL and now probably the league as well.

Carra is history for me, and Arby isnt winning any fans with his reluctance to track back after going forward (A right back afraid to defend, shocking)

Great game tonight, not at all surprised to see Liverpool get another late goal (double figures for the season now!) as Arsenal couldn't defend against a Sunday league side, Sagna was atrocious!

Benayoun has been a revelation for Liverpool this season and has been the match saver as many times, if not more than Torres or Gerrard, fantastic really.

and you would trade 6 CL cups for our untouchables season huh :p, streaky teams can win a cup competition .....the best teams win the league.

That times long gone, back when Wenger knew how to win the league.
Obviously, as much as it pains to admit, i cant help but think he might just be the smartest manager alive though dispite his fear to commit cash into signings recently.
Maybe hes deliberatly doing enough to maintain a CL level for income, as he knows as long as Man U are living in their own fairy world of mass loans and debt you cant really compete. And that bubble has to burst .. one day!

I dont know whats going on with our defending recently. We might aswell have been playing with a big red bulls-eye on the goal.

Sloppy play by Masch and Arbeloa for two of the goals, but I must say Arshavin took his chances perfectly. It was just one of those magic days footballers occasionally get, even if they aren't completely involved in the game.

As for Benayoun, once again proved to be the brain of our team and was rampant across their 18yrd box. I was a bit disappointed with Alonso today, his attitude just seemed wrong, like he wasn't wanting to harm or do anything to offend Fabregas his bum-chum friend.

This game proved that we are crying out for a prolific attacking midfielder to replace Gerrard when he's not available. We really do need someone of great attacking quality because we have too many players wasting the ball, and not holding it up well enough.

We scored 4 and the player who came in for Gerrard got 2 of them

You think?
After the last 2 games my first signings would be a 'leader' firgure CB to replace Carra , a decent stop-gap Left back untill Insua matures and a new right back who doesnt become immune to defending in the last 10 games of the season.

Well that was a good game. I am a Arsenal supporter but wasn't that fussed :) because it was a good match to watch.

Comedy defending but you could tell Liverpool REALLY wanted to win, they just went for it with massive pressure all over the pitch. When it was 3-4, Arsenal could had sealed it with another a few times but oh well.

Take off Bendtner and put on another defender, utterly pointless playing him. He must be doing something in training....because he does nothing all match long.

I would had probably preferred Liverpool to win and pip Man U for the title, it's about time they're annoying luck came to an end.

The hardest part would be finding a prolific attacking midfielder with great attacking quality who is then willing to just sit on the bench everytime that Gerrard is available.
