Football manager 2016

That's not really a new thing or an exploit. You've been able to do that for ages to generate money easily.

You've always been able to do that in Football/Champ Manager. I though everyone did it.

Just to add I'm enjoying this more than any FM game since 2010 (still my fav) this is a big update from 2015. The match engine is quite decent this year. My only real problem is with the amount of injuries.

I am on windows 10 and not having any issue's at all. Never had an issue with FM15 either on Windows 10, so it must be more to it than just the o/s. There must be some kind of conflict with hardware or drivers.

Anyway, enjoying the game, found some great youngsters and just smashed City 4-0. Much better match engine than 15, things seem to make more sense now.

I have no problems with Windows 10 either, 15 and 16 both work fine.
One new thing I like is when negotiating a starting club, there's an option for the old manager to stay on as a director of football. So I have Arsene Wenger to give me advice! :D

:p

I've put 25 hours into it already - I had forgotten how wonderfully frustrating/enjoyable this game is. I love Ayoze Perez as much on here as I do in real life.

I'm testing Scottish League 1 as Ayr. Quite enjoyable but also quite different to 15. Biggest problem I'm having is finding staff members from different countries. In 15 you usually had a small selection of foreign staff whom would give you scouting knowledge. In 16 there is hardly anyone at this level.

Well at least FM16 has fixed the old issue of lots of injuries affecting your squad!

I think it's actually better than 15. What I have discovered is you need to follow the advice of your physio and assistant manager just prior to a match. He might tell you that some players are not match fit and/or match sharp.

At the beginning of the season I also suffered a lot of injuries. But I realised this was because my players were really unfit and were suffering pre-season. I screwed up the training. I forgot to specify team cohesion and tactics during the pre-season so when it came to the first few matches my men were totally out of condition and my tactical awareness was quite poor. I'm now in November and I haven't suffered an injury since end of August. My tactical awareness is nearly 100% I'd say and my first team are now 95% both sharpness and condition. It's the ones who are in reserves who have the least amount of game time who seem to suffer the most. This is with players some of whom are injury prone too. It's food for thought.

Yeah I've been listening to them and either not playing someone not fit or playing them for just under 60 minutes. However only one injury has come from a match. The rest are from training and for quite lengthy periods of time.

Yes, my injuries were mostly from training too. It's very frustrating when you lose a quality player for a number of months in the first few days before the season even begins. But I can definitely see where things have improved in 16. It's a step in the right direction I think. It certainly appears less random than it did in 15 anyway.

I'm still struggling a bit with the staff thing. Can't understand why I can't see other nationalities other than from Britain, especially considering I'm a professional team and I've got European wide scouting.

Hopefully it might be improved for the full release of the game. One bonus for me with FM16 is that this time Man Utd have only Phil Jones injured from the main squad at the beginning of the game. It's been quite annoying for the past few versions when you start a new game and 3-4 senior players are injured for months!

Not sure if this was in 15, but at the end of the season you get some handy stats about how long each player has spent out injured and what their longest lay-off was. So far (only a season in, mind you) I'm noticing fewer injuries than in 14. The only players I've had trouble with have been Krul and Tiote, and they're always injured irl anyway. It probably helps that I went out of the League Cup early on so I only had two competitions to worry about. I'm in the Europa League this season so we'll see how it goes.

In more upsetting news, my beautiful Ayoze is gone already. I thought the £35m release clause I put in his new contract was pretty safe, but after 18 goals in 32 league starts...

It's a cruel, cruel game.

yeah I wouldnt be suprised, they wasnt bothered about windows 10 when they didnt fix fm 2015 dont advertise the game to work on windows 10 if its not properly been tested, I paid to get the beta and play early. totally understand betas wont run properly or be perfect but when you cant even launch the game without crashing on the same menus. its 2 weeks until the release all this beta is gonna fix is player bugs and match engine which wont be fixed quick. betas should be released months before release to fix it.

every year I feel like im beta testing the game when its released

The game will have been in beta long before the public beta.

They also have a large internal QA team at si towers, which is supplemented by another large team at Sega. They will certainly have tested the game on Windows 10.

It runs fine for me on W10 pro.

I knew I was tempting fate by saying I hadn't had any injury problems. One month into the new season I have two players with broken legs (out 5-6 months) and one with torn knee ligaments (out 7-8 months).

I wiped my laptop and re-bought FM. It works but I have to open task manager during start up and close it again so that the game kicks in to starting. Odd. Just mucking around seeing who I can sell from various clubs to raise enough cash to make a new save interesting.

Can sell Vardy for £18 million or with Spurs, Kane for £35 million to united and Lamela for £25 million to PSG. £60 million plus the starting £20 million anda half decent squad. Kane is so overated but united are desperate for him so bye bye Kane

That's a really weird problem you have there mate. As I said before I'm using this on my MSI laptop and haven't suffered a single crash yet. It suggests its a compatibility problem but it's unlikely a Win 10 specific problem. I wouldn't know what to suggest to check though. But it's worth letting SI know you've formatted etc as it may effect others.

I think it's a gpu conflict somewhere, will try set it to the intel hd 4000 later on today.
