Football *Spoilers* 26/27/28 April

Thats not even a fair representation of the match day, all you could hear were the united fans after the first 15 minutes.
It was like watching the cardboard cut outs of a pro evo game when the camera was on the chelsea fans.
Clearly you weren't at the match, I was, the Utd fans were quiet for the entire match, bar a brief period after their goal.
Never trust TV coverage when it comes to these things, poor microphone placement can be very misleading.

For the record, we were stood up and in great voice for the entire match.

Aggression is one thing, but kicking a female steward?
Nice guy.

"Unfortunately, a lady was stood by and I accidentally brushed her with my foot. I apologised profusely and went back to make sure she was OK," he said.

"I have arranged for a bouquet of flowers to be sent to her.

"Credit to her, she laughed it off and was very understanding. She said she wasn't hurt."

Never let the facts get in the way of a good story, eh? Muppet.

The sooner Ferdinand is made captain the better, he showed today he's the true leader on the pitch. Was great to see him and Hargreaves showing a bit of aggression.

they both went too far, hargreves in particular showed utter disrespect and deserved a red card.
we cant sit in judgment of arsenal or chelsea antics if were to be no better ourselves.
hargreves actions seemed out of character at least.
perhaps the nasty challenge, being kicked by his own team mate and then having a free kick taken off him contributed to his foul mood.
but he must surely be used to big pressure games.

Mountain over a mole hill that. Press were desperate for something to knock Rio after the reports of him being Capello's permanent choice for captain.

If that hadn't have happened they would have just super imposed rio's body into the pictures of the scuffle in the warm down, or gone with "Rio orders United troops to attack groundsmen" :p

Anyway:

  • Chelsea were the better team and deserved the win
  • It was a penalty
  • LETS MOVE ON!

And what was he doing for his foot to 'brush' her?
Kicking a wall wasn't it?
Nice guy.

Hargreaves was getting a bit close to the line but I thought Ferdinand was fine.

That's tosh. Was at the game and its the loudest I've heard Chelsea for a long while. Been to a fair few Prem games and Championship games around the country and yesterday was up there atmosphere wise.

Man Utd only sang when they scored and to be fair the Utd fans had nothing to cheer about before then anyway.

I don't know what it is but the noise generated at Chelsea never comes out anywhere near as loud as it should be on TV. Perhaps its the setup at the ground but never as loud as should sound like on the TV.

Do United fans still think Carrick going down should have been a penalty out of interest?

I am a Chelsea fan, so was a bit biased at the time, but watching it back on MOTD it was definitely NOT a penalty in my eyes.
Again, the Chelsea pen was as clear as anything.

Andy Gray annoyed me during the game, he made a comment about Chelsea having a bad habit of surrounding the ref, fair enough, we were doing it when he said it.

Then when United did it he didn't say a bloody word. He is such a git.
