Former Russian double agent seriously ill in Salisbury.

BBC are such hypocrites - @10pm news bbc russian correspondant said Russian tv flippantly portraying the evictions just like the eurovision results ... well, that is also how the bbc took great glee in presenting them too.

BBC also suggested that absence of Trump tweet's suggest he does not back the evictions - division in the ranks/media ?
and, that EU response is very much an obligated joint foreign policy response, as opposed to a free vote decision by the component nations (the other nations will put this IOU ticket in the bank for the brexit negotiations)

Given that they want unified responses in the first place and are keen for the UK to carry on with defence/security co-operation I'm not sure this has much to do with Brexit or owing them etc... likewise the UK will carry on defending Eastern European nations as part of its NATO commitment.

"I have no love for Porton Down because I was brought up in Swanage and I was speaking to someone who told me that Porton Down was involved in spraying live bacteria in the bay, and when I was a child I had frequent chest infections, and of course I don't know if there's any connection there but I do wonder..." - "Well it could be couldn't it!"

Yes this is very convincing indeed I'm sold

lolol, What do you mean? Just because its a youtube video questioning the official narrative!! with no one of any credence doesnt mean its not true! bloody sheeple paid zionist wake up!1111!!!!!11223

nice to see a coordinated response from other nations. I think it might of given the Russian government a surprise. I listened to the first 15 mins or so of that youtube video from #970, doesn't seem to be anything new, just stuff already in the public domain and here say.

The coordinated response does several things:

* It sends a message to Putin that the western allies are still coordinated and supporting each other. I suspect with Trump and Brexit he had gambled on there being more division.

* It dismantles a large part of the Russian spy network. Leaders of the SVR will be quite angry about that and will probably be asking Putin whether the poisoning of one man was worth the impact if has had.

* Being a 'diplomat' in the west is probably a nice job. They won't be happy being sent back to Russia and with some of them being fairly influential they may collectively put pressure on Putin when he didn't expect it.

No doubt Russia will also expel a similar number of western 'diplomats'.

I'm sure he will, I also read that the US had closed Russia Seattle consolate, which was suspiciously close to boeing and a US Naval base.

I would still like to know what percentage of diplomats this represents - it is the obvious question that none of the media could answer
an old telelgraph article suggested worldwide we had 1400 (most did not speak target country language - the articel raison d'etre) -
so if they had a similar number you're heading to 10%... but maybe there are multiple levels of diplomat and even the UK total is larger.

similarly - it was nothing new - I looked at some of the guys other videos too,to try(jury's out) and establish credibility

Because it's a massive tragedy and yet nothing here.

This thread is about the nerve agent poisoning in Salisbury and the consequences. If you want a thread on the appalling tragedy of the fire in Russia, and have comments to make, I suggest you start one.

Yes I know it is, but I think it says a lot about the current feelings to Russia as to the fact there is no thread, if it was America I bet there would be one, I chose this thread because it goes along with the narrative.

Nothing to do with this thread though? Nothing to stop you creating a thread as well. People sadly die in fires all around the world every day.

Kind of confirms it really right there.

I think the fact that you haven't started a thread says more about you rather than the rest of the forum.

I'm not saying I can't be bothered to make a thread, it's an observation, I came here expecting to see a thread, I haven't.

How the **** do you think that reflects on me I have no idea.
