But they have such a lack of depth. I want the icons that have the guy with his hand over his face and ambivilant guy etc.
Current smileys are crap.

Your profile states you are 39 years old and these are the things that concern you?

The crying with laughter emoji just makes me think of this when ever I see it tbh.

That was the issue! Thanks

How do you go back in mobile? I can't insert smileys or anything and can't go back.

It's not for sake of sentiment only though. This forum is clean and very tidy when compared to many other forums.

One of the reasons is the restriction of smileys, avatars, signature type and size. These things create a structured foundation for us to avoid concerning ourselves over the latest avatar we want, or the new cool signature to have, or which of the 5000 emojis to use, leaving us to focus on the content, which is what makes this forum so great.

I also am a firm believer that the greatest creations come from having a restrictive box to be creative in. You have a limited amount of smileys to use. Be creative and figure out how to get your point across with them.

There is an annoying issue with the WYSIWYG text box. When you use italitics (CTRL+I) and then try and turn off Italics (CTRL+I); as you can see - it continues to do Italics.

Hmm maybe it is only the first time. After the first time it bugs out it works - odd.
That was an issue for me on the old forums. I think that's more of a chrome issue on mobiles.

As far as smileys go, i dont really care, but i've got used to using WIN+. Unicode emoji support would be far from the worst thing in the world. The old smileys are fine but nostalgia isnt a reason to hold on to them, IMO at least.

Why when I open a thread doesn't it take me to the last post I saw on my last visit? Always takes me to post #1. Very annoying as this seems a standard feature on most forums now.

Clicking the thread title will:
A) Take you to the first unread post in a thread if you have opened it previously. B) If you have read everything, take you to the first post.

Clicking a page number will:
A) Takes you to the page number clicked

Clicking the thread creation date will:
A) Take you to the first post

Clicking the last post date will:
A) Take you to the last post

Clicking the envelopes will:
A) Take you to the first unread post in a thread if you have opened it previously. B) If you have read everything, take you to the first post.

I'm pretty sure that has changed, the envelope used to take you to the last post in the thread if you'd read everything.

I have just checked a copy of the forums taken prior to the update, there is one minor change.

If you have read everything AND not replied to the thread, it would take you to the first post.

If you had read everything AND replied it would take you to the last post.

OK, can we have this behaviour back please?

At the moment, this grey envelope doesn't do anything at all. It did on Friday, it stopped on Saturday.

Is it possible to have different colours for new threads vs new replies to topic in the alerts area? You have to really read the alerts in detail to see what is a new thread that has been posted in a watched forum vs. a new post in a thread... A different colour would allow you to find this easily, otherwise you end up with the alert button showing you have unread stuff.

This might just be me being petty, but the two large grey "New posts" and "Post thread…" buttons stand out like a sore thumb. Could these be made light blue for the Classic Blue theme?
