Ah makes sense thanks, I heard the news in general, didn't even know who that actor was tbh, seemingly out of the gist of things.

Something weird is still happening when clicking either the envelope or thread title to go to the most recent post, for any threads which happen to have any posts on a page with multiple Twitter embedded posts. For me it appears to open at the most recent post first, but then the whole page shifts up to some random time in the past, seemingly jumping to one with a Twitter post in it. I am wondering if the Twitter posts are expanding as the page loads and it makes it shift up. It is quite annoying tbh.

That's basically it. I wish we didn't allow twitter embedding, I think it would make a huge difference to the loading of pages.

Good spot, probably could do with being in bold/red or something as just assume if its blue and white its just normal content and nothing new

Can look into it if you insist, but I dont think the "bright" colors are particularly easy on the eyes across all the themes where the default options work on all of them.

The bright colours stand out more specifically when a Moderator posts a warning or comment within a thread - for the use they normally get, then easy on the eye isn't a requirement (although I get your point that the default colours are much better for normal users colouring things)

Agreed, the bright colours are really useful for us because they stand out so well.

On mobile (iOS / Safari) when I choose ‘mark all forums read’ from the top left menu I keep getting an error message about ‘security’ problems. It does resolve if I refresh.

What new forum? It's always been like this.

Browsing the forum on my iPhone 12 with safari and it often hangs or gets stuck loading whenever there are links, or embedded videos etc (Least it seems to be linked to that sort of content)
I use AdGuard, but I’ve turned it off for this site.
Resolves itself after a minute or two, or you have to close the window and start a new session.

Anyone else getting this?

I'm noticing an odd an annoying issue with Firefox v101.0.1 (64-bit). Whenever I am typing a post, the mouse cursor flashes on and off the screen while typing. Pretty distracting.

I've noticed with some threads when I click the envelope it takes me to the first post instead of the last read. It looks to be related to how long ago it was posted on. The Diablo 4 thread in PC Games did it just now. Last post was 31st March. New post in the early hours of the morning and it took me to the first post.

Is there any likelihood of making smilies still work when in code view? The buttons in that entire row become inactive

It's not the same thing. There appears to the issue I mentioned, the one above mine and the one where embedded stuff causes it to go somewhere random.

Have you posted in that thread? It was said by a mod in this thread that if you click the envelope it'll behave differently whether you've 1 posted in the thread or not, and 2 is if you've seen the newest information already.
