No, this is something that's been requested for yonks but sadly people can't be trusted to not use things that you'd see scribbled on a high school desk as their avatar.

We were able to change from a selection of mobsters depending on our post count, I can't remember how to do it now.

That’s the inline spoiler. It can be selected using the menu (like you would a regular spoiler) just a different option.Which new option causes this "blurring" effect on the text which disappears when clicked? I thought that the new software's Spoilers still looked the same as previous one (click to Spoiler button to display the unseen text) so is this something new?

A new one, the Text Underline option is "hidden" in the triple dot (more) section which is a pain to use, can it be brought onto the toolbar by a user or would that be a system change required?
Alternatively you can use bb code [ispoiler ] in tags

In MM now when your adding feedback it has a 'short review' form, and a comments form that are both required to be filled out to add feedback, I don't understand this, so I have to give a short review and comments? most feedback will be one line, for example if I want to say "Good buyer, paid quickly, good communication", I should put that in the short review box and the comments section box?

That’s because you’re not meant to copy the URL as it will take you to different posts dependant on the number of posts per page specific to the user that clicks it.
Theres a little share icon on the top right of each post. Click that then copy the link to get a permalink. For instance, here’s the link to your post I’ve just copied…
