I agree. If i had the money I'd head over to McLaren and buy a senna
 
I think the gripes regarding events being closed as "finished" after a 9th place finish and the fact that it pays to drive as the crow flies rather than skill it round the bends of the roads are entirely fair. It upsets the flow of the game for me. I'll continue to play it I think but I've lost incentive to ace events and try to 'complete' it properly through practice and proper performance.

The recent Eurogamer interview gave a brief insight into what the work that goes into licensing brands, and does mention that Toyota was one that they couldn't come to an agreement with.
 
With Assassin's Creed Odyssey being released and sat on my HDD I just can't seem to tear myself away from this game.

Had a blast in one of the showcase events, just a shame there's only 5:

Great game though and I've just finished all the road racing events and beat the Colossus on unbeatable AI.

I dont run afterburner, I have tried wsreset and about 50 other things trouble shooting recomends.


Its something to do with ipv6 apparently

From the reddit thread of other people suffering from the same issue.
I have just this minute got off the phone with Microsoft support.

I explained that today I have found the issue is not localised to one PC. It happens in both my machines and also all of you here.

He very quickly said the developers are working hard to release an update soon. Which coincides with what my colleague told me this morning, apparently there is one coming in November.

The Microsoft tech told me the update may take a month or more and to wait for the update before troubleshooting further.

:mad: Looks like my game pass will be expired before I get to play it again.

The same bug also breaks online support so I cant even contact them without ringing them.

Not being sarcastic, honest, but could you not adapt to bumper/bonnet camera? Unless of course it is the additional realism / immersion of cockpit view you insist on?

Slightly hypocritical if I'm honest as I'd like to see my car / immediate surroundings with chase view but haven't put the time in to adapt to it

Same as me its broken right now for a change LOL! How on earth MS manage to break their own Windows Store is laughable as well!

I found these settings to be pretty astonishing in most light and weather scenarios:
  • Shutter Speed: 100
  • Focus: 50
  • Exposure: 66
  • Aperture: 26
  • Contrast: 50
  • Color: 56
  • Brightness: 37
  • Sepia: 15
  • Vignette: 30

I had the same problem in Forza Horizon 3 at a certain point in the game (using a GTX 1080 in July). It would hard lock and BSOD in the background with that error within 5 minutes of playing. When I advanced in the game it stopped doing it and is rock stable as it was for months before. Game has been running great but this past day I have gone from 60fps ultra to 20fps any setting, must be something up with the pc but can't figure it out :confused:
