Not being sarcastic, honest, but could you not adapt to bumper/bonnet camera? Unless of course it is the additional realism / immersion of cockpit view you insist on?

Slightly hypocritical if I'm honest as I'd like to see my car / immediate surroundings with chase view but haven't put the time in to adapt to it

Absolutely, when the race gets tough (or when playing pure PVP) I go for bonnet for best possible reactions.

I like Cockpit for immersion and general enjoyment! The Subaru Impreza is the last one I found with a pretty open view.

Fair enough, you should be able to get a refund if you've only played an hour and bought through ms store

Traction control on the hypercars and such. Is it really a "difficulty reduction" to have it on or am I supposed to be more measured with the accelerator (controller trigger) when starting off from a standstill. I don't always hammer it but it's difficult to gain traction from start even when trying to ease on the power.

Surely in real life you'd want to have it on, if only on minimal interference? The same applies with ABS, it's made out to be a sort of easy-mode with these things on but I can't help thinking if the real life cars come with these aids then surely it should be applied in the game?

Or am I just doing it wrong?

to me, this is Horizon not motorsport, so it is not realistic at all, just fun, if you want realism, buy Forza Motorsport

It's a nat issue, may restricted will mean a no go with Teredo and no Forza horizon life.
You need to open some.ports on your router and have upnp enabled.
Have a Google about these for your make router.
If you get nat open and not restricted after you've done these then you'll be good to go

The word Forza should never be associated with the words realism or sim.

Thought I'd give this a go since I have 10 days left of my GamePass. Really enjoyed that intro, just about to jump into the main world now.

So far it looks great and is running great. If it wasn't for the price of the game, I think I'd definitely pick this up.

I dont get it, my Huracan is supposed to have better acceleration than my Zonda R
but its not, its defiantly slower!

Well I've had a few hours and while it's fun, I've had nothing but issues and spent about an hour just getting the game fire up:

Starting with the game wouldn't even launch which turned out to be MSI Afterburner so had to make sure that wasn't running.
Then the game loaded but CTD immediately at the title screen which turned out to be because my mixed reality headset was plugged in.

Now the game runs a solid 60fps at 1440p but with the below texture problems, any ideas anyone?:
